Ren almost winced at her words and shook his head softly, focusing on Athena. He wrapped his hoodie around her injured leg instead, Hoping it would stay there. He looked over at Hiro, then back at the girl. "Can you comfort Hiro, please?" Ren asked, then stood and fluttered up beside Fang. "We have to go home. I need more supplies to help Athena and Hiro."

I said nothing. If not for the slight twitching of my wings, I probably would have been mistaken as dead or just unconscious. Slowly, I stood and stretched my wings. The last thing I wanted to do, was leave Hiro because I'd already promised him that I wouldn't. Then again, this was necessary. "They're both injured. What would they do if more Erasers came?"

"Sure." Athena said in her quiet tone. She hobbled over to Hiro and sat beside him. "You need help?" she asked

Ren followed her movements. "I'm planning on going to our house, grabbing the stuff and heading back to you guys without getting caught. I need you to lead the others back to the cave." He said quietly.

Slowly but surely, I opened my eyes and held his gaze for a moment. "Would you be willing to let the puppy come with us? Whether you like it or not, none of us would be able to fight if something happened and with the gash on my stomach, I wouldn't last very long at all even if I wanted to." I had a feeling that I already knew the answer but my point was valid so if I were lucky, he'd say yes. My wound had been fine as far as bleeding but I knew that once I started flying again, I'd end up totally exhausted and unable to look after anyone and I'd only open them further.

Basically, the flock went to go retrieve Riley and Knight but ended up having a huge fight with some whitecoats and Erasers. Ren got shot with a tranquilizer dart so he was pretty loopy for a while but he's totally fine now. Hiro got his arm broken or dislocated I'm not entirely sure, Athena has a pretty bad injury on her leg, Ren came out generally unscathed, and Jinx got slashed across her stomach. Once the Erasers were dealt with (They were in a forest at the time of the fight by the way) Storm and Jinx kind of got to have some time together which resulted in a rather angry/jealous Ren so now Jinx and Ren are fighting. Storm is a good guy now but Ren isn't really convinced. The rest of the flock is just wary of him but Jinx is determined to make everyone see things her way. She really doesn't wasn't to leave storm but Ren is determined to separate them. Now, Ren is going back to the flock's home to gather supplies while Jinx is going to be getting Athena and Hiro back to the cave. She wants to take Storm along just in case something bad happens and for obvious reasons (They've got a puppy love thing going on) but it has yet to be decided. I think I've covered everything but if not, I'm sure someone will be willing to fill in the blanks.

The teen looked closely at Jinx, studying her for a moment. She really wanted to keep Storm here. Ren had always and still did trust Jinx. She made good decisions and he couldn't recall one thing she'd ever been wrong about, other then lying that she herself was okay to make him tend to the others. Maybe she was right about Storm, and he'd help the flock.
Ren sighed and ran his hand through his hair, his olive green eyes meeting her cerulean blue ones. "fine. puppy can come home with us. but if he slips up or hurts anyone, I'm personally going to kick his sorry butt back to the school."
