So my keyboard is working again. I hit it on the desk juuuust right. >->
Authors: My favourite authors... woooh, that's a tough one. Neil Gaiman is right at the top of the list, for sure, for the artistry inherent in absolutely everything he writes. His plots are meh, his characters can be a bit boring, but he has a mastery over words unlike any other author I have ever read. Lois McMaster Bujold would be another favourite, because although she doesn't have anywhere near the gift with words that Gaiman has, her plots are riveting and complex, and she has a way with character that make them truly real. Every single character in her stories live, breathe, and see a situation in their own unique way. She even varies her writing style subtly, based on her view-point character. And Douglas Adams. Can't possibly leave out him, or Terry Pratchett, or Jonathan Stroud. (Huh. Just realized that all my favourite authors, bar one, are British gentleman).
Fanfic: I read fanfic - Marvel, Harry Potter and Sherlock mostly. :3 I haven't tried writing it yet, though I have a plot bunny involving Spiderman/Peter Parker and Bruce Banner/Hulk, with Peter as Dr. Banner's intern. Ehjl;dklfd Oh asdfd my kyboard gav up its ability to typ th lttr aftr d again. *whack whack whack* D*mn it. Arty signing out. *static nois*
INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.
