Ren was the same height as him, so he didn't back down when Storm got in his face. "You'd better head back to your little Whitecoat owners, mutt. Get away from my flock or I'll make you."

As long as I'd known Ren, he'd never truly been mad at me but at the moment all I could see in his eyes was anger. In fact, I could smell it in his scent and it made me uneasy as I looked between him and Storm. "Ren, calm down." I pulled my arm out of his grasp and walked back over to Storm and wrapped my arms around him. Neither of them were very happy at the moment and I didn't know how to clear the tension in the air.

Ren didn't know what came over him. Something in him must of broke, killing his calm and leader-like nature. You ever heard a person say that they where so mad, all they saw was red? It was true. Ren shoved Jinx away, his hands forming fists. He wasn't thinking, and he felt like someone or something else was controlling him. He swung a punch at Storm, the force making his knuckles sting.

Storm dodged Ren's punches. never striking back. "I don't want to hurt you, or the Flock." Storm said, slowly backing up.

My brows furrowed in confusion ad I tried to figure out what was wrong with Ren. Naturally, I sought to calm him down before something bad happened. Growling softly I grabbed his wings and held them tightly. Normally I wouldn't do this because no one really liked having their wings messed with but I didn't know what else to do. After taking firm hold of his wings, I wrapped my arms around him to keep him from attacking Storm further. "Ren, it's ok. Just calm down." I spoke softly hoping that somehow, my words would get through to him.

Ren felt her arms around him, but it felt more like ice-cold needles then warm and soothing. He tried to tug his arms free, his olive green eyes like fire, but she had a good grip. He managed to take a step closer to Storm. "Get away from my flock. Now." He growled lowly.

Storm was hurt. All he did was save their sorry butts and this is what he got. "Alright"he back up further from him, now calm. "But keep in mind if I don't respond back to any white coats soon, I will be assumed dead like the others." And with that said the unhooked his radio from his belt and dropped it to the ground and smashed it.

As I let go of an angry Ren I took a step towards Storm and whined. "You're not going to leave, are you?"

Storm broke eye-contact with Ren and looked to the ground and sighed. He turned to Jinx, "If the flock functions better with out me near, so-be-it." It was hard for those words to escape his mouth. "But even if all I do is keep the flock alive, and you are happy, then i'll be happy too." He broke out a small weak smile. He didn't want to let her go but if it ment Ren leaving the flock then he would go, he didn't want to split them apart.

My heart clenched painfully as I realized that he was right. No matter what, I could not allow the flock to be separated further even if it meant I wouldn't be happy. Sighing softly I finally wrapped my arms around him tightly as if I weren't going to let him go but in reality, if Ren said no, I wouldn't have much of a choice. "But you're my puppy. You can't just leave."
