✳I groaned opening my eyes slightly, looking around me. To say i was shocked would be an understatement. How i was the only one to survive this crash is weird. Yeah the waves pulling me under, and i fell unconscious but if it didn't kill me then i don't know what killed them. Unless, there was something on this beach, that killed them. But why would it just pass me by? It killed them, why not me too? Unless it thought i was dead already and just left me. All i know is i don't really care at the moment i had a throbbing head ache, and i was cold. So, so cold. I laid back in the sand, just as my eyes closed I noticed a boy walk over to me. I couldn't recognize him. And my body was so tired, i didn't have enough strength in me to keep my eyes open. So yet again i fell unconscious.

✳Coughing my eyes opened to find myself in a cave. Shiver i pulled the jacket around me closed tighter and crawled a bit closer to the fire. I snuggled into the coat, till my eyes where the only thing you could see. Sighing, i rested my fore head against my knees willing myself not to cry, even though it's what i wanted to do I wasn't about to cry. Yeah, if the crew men didn't survive it meant my family didn't either, and that struck a nerve dead down. But i had survived and someone had found me, I don't know where there at and in truth, I'm not sure if i want to. For all i know the person who had rescued me could be dangerous. I shook my head and began coughing again. Jumping slightly at the sound of a snapping twig. Shivering i pressed against the cave wall, trying to hide myself with the jacket.

✳Unable to keep my eyes open any longer, i laid down by the wall of the cave using my arms as a pillow i laid my head down. Staring at the fire for a bit i turned my head glancing out of the mouth of the cave for just a moment. Before i closed my eyes falling asleep.

➸ Sniffing the frigid air, I found the scent of a rabbit, and some other animal. I contemplated of weather I should go after the rabbit or the animal I now know as a fawn. I narrowed my eyes. ' the rabbit would be enough for one of us. And depending on the condition of the fawn, that could feed us both for at least two days at the most.' I thought. Growling now, I decided to go after the rabbit. Besides I could wait and hunt when she's sleeping. I could slip out at anytime and hunt. I stood up, shook off, and started to follow the scent of the rabbit. I got closer, and closer to where the rabbit was hiding. I broke off into a run as I saw the rabbit run out of It's hiding place. Catching up with it quickly, I saw the rabbit trip. Jumping back, I bit It's neck and killed it quickly. Setting it down, I watched it carefully to see if it was actually dead. The body didn't move.

➸ I picked it up and started on my adventure back to the cave. I was just a few feet from the mouth of it, I set the rabbit down and looked at the girl. I flicked my tail. Thank Goodness that she was sleeping. I shifted back and began to set to work on the rabbit. Of course, that didn't take long the way I do it. The traditional thing is to skin it, and work your way down. My method, don't ask. Mine is more of a pain to do. Putting the rabbit meat on a stick I had been carving out, I walked inside and put the meat over the fire and let it cook. I walked back out and decided to begin cleaning up my mess. I tossed the pieces of the, sadly, destroyed rabbit off I to the woods to let other animals have it. I wasn't in the mood to eat. My body thought differently, but my head and I went against it.

➸ I shook my head and walked back into the cave. I set down right at the mouth of it. Putting my arms begins my head, I close my eyes. But I keep alert for the girl in case she wakes up.

✳I curled up pulling my knees to my chest unable to stay asleep for long. I didn't feel safe, probably never would. Maybe i should go exploring? I thought but decided against it once i had looked outside the mouth of the cave to see how dark it was. Sighing I rolled onto my back, and stared up at the roof of the cave, imagining stars, and the moon shining brightly in the night sky. A smile had formed on my lips, but disapeared and was replaced with a worried and scared look as i heard another noise, but it was heading towards the cave this time. I closed my, eyes steadying my breathing and my heart beat hoping it was my imagination. But to my luck, what ever it was walked straight into the cave. But then things went silent and i heard nothing after that.

✳I slowly peeked an eye open to see a boy, my eyes followed his movements, until i snapped them shut feeling his eyes on me. I tried not to squirm under his gaze, and act like i was asleep. Letting out a breath of relief as the feeling of being watched just left me. I bit down on my lip opening my eyes again, and stared out of the cave to see him moving around, doing something. But i'm not very sure i want to know, he could be sharpening some sort of weapon to kill me for all i know. That thought, almost had me bursting out laughing. But yet i knew how true it could be, and the fear coursing threw me told me that, maybe, just maybe my thoughts were right. I closed my eyes as he began walking back in here, and opening my eyes setting something over the fire.

✳Biting my lip i decided it was about time to stop pretending i was asleep, and i was surprised he actually thought i was asleep. Because normally i'm a horrible actor. But whatever, I sat up looking around the cave. My gaze landing on him afterward. And i cringed into the wall, bringing my knees up to my chest. As if it where a way to be hidden, or block myself form him.

➸ I sighed and opened my eyes, hearing the girl move around. I glanced over to her, seeing she had moved closer towards the wall. I smiled slightly, glad that she was awake. I looked back at the fire and noticed that the meat cooking over it was close to done. I fixed my position and folded my arms across my chest. "Your finally awake." I say, my eyes closed. I turned to look at her and I fought back a grin. This girl was scared, but a little more than i had expected. I watched her for a minuet or two before going over to the fire. I picked up the stick and walked over to her. I sat down just a few feet from her and reached out to give her the stick. "Here. Take it." I say quietly, smiling a little. I stood up and move back over to the fire giving her space. I meant no harm, but how could she know? I shook my head as I put another stick into the fire. I sat down and warmed myself.

➸ I closed my eyes and relaxed as I was getting warmer. I occasionally looked back to check on her. I was fully comfortable and aware with the task at hand. But for now, i wanted her to get accustomed to me. I laid down on the cold floor of the cave and closed my eyes. I wasn't sleeping. Just resting.

✳My eyes widened as he spoke up, but sealed my lips shut. I was scared, it was obvious. And when he stood up, i couldn't help but try and scrable back into the wall farther. I had met him on the boat a few times, but i still didn't know him. And i was slightly frightened of him. What if he was the one who killed all those men and woman on the beach? I thought cringing at the thought. I froze slowly reaching out and taking the stick, before crawling a bit further away from him. She nibbled on it slowly, my eyes on him. As if i expected him to just pull a weapon or, or try something. I looked down at the stick that still held more than half of the rabbit's meat. I sat there staring at it, feeling as if i'd throw up after another bite. I slipped the jacket off my shoulders resting the stick on it, and watched him closley.

✳Once i looked at him, he looked like he was asleep. But then again i wasn't very good so i couldn't tell if he was asleep or resting. I slowly stood up, keeping along the wall, i crept towards the mouth of the cave. My back against the wall, as i slowly passed where he was.

➸ I opened one eye. "Where are you going?" I asked quietly. Obvious, curious as to where exactly she was going. I closed my eye again and sighed. "just stay away from the beach and don't go to far into the woods." I said. "there's a nasty storm coming." I added. I relaxed and heaved another sigh. I wanted to follow her, but I knew she needed the space. I know this island, and this island wasn't the place to go on an adventure in. Yawning, I sat up and waled to a corner, opposite of her's. Sitting down in it, I rested my chin on my arms and watched her before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

➸ This storm was going to be bad. I had no doubt tat i'd probably have to go on a search and rescue mission just to find the D*mn girl. I shook my head and kept my mouth shut. deciding now wasn't the time to go chasing the girl. And risk getting her lost in the woods, or farther away from where we were.

✳I jumped at his voice screaming, and cringing back into the wall again. I took deep even breaths to calm my racing heart. Nodding my head a this words not actually hearing a thing he had just muttered. I slipped out of the cave, letting a sigh of relief to be out of there. But my eyes widened taking in my surroundings. It was actually kind of scary this place. I looked back in the cave noticing he was asleep. Letting out the breath i was holding i took off in a run towards anywhere but the cave. After a while i just stopped moving, it sounded as if something where following me and i didn't like the feeling the thought gave me. I started running again, my eyes search for anywhere to curl up at.

✳After an hour or so of hour, i had finally found another cave. And it seemed to be empty, for the moment. Who knows what lives in here, but i didn't care. I wanted out of the storm. And i was so exhuasted. I found a tight spot where i just barley fit and slipped in. Bringing my kneews up and hugging them to my chest as i sat there sobbing in my knees. Just wishing i could go home.

➸ Picking up my head, I looked around. It had been a little over an hour and I still saw no sign of the girl. I knew that storm was coming and It was going to be a nasty one by the looks of it. I stood up and walked over to the mouth of the cave. I noticed she had ventured off into the woods. Technically speaking, it was a good and a bad thing. Bad because after the storm hits and passes by, i won't be able to find her, good because other animals won't find her and she's safe for now. I sighed and contemplated on the fact that i needed to go out and find her, or i could just wait until the storm passes and then find her. Yeah, that'll be like finding a needle in a haystack. Especially if she's doing something like island hopping so to speak. Find a place, stay there, wait a bit and then move to another place.

➸ I decided, storm or not, she'd someone to look after her. Even if i was the one who had killed the crew. I walked back into the cave, grabbed my jacket, finished the rest of the meat, and started to walk out of the cave. I made my way into the forest, following the obvious. Her scent.

✳I was nice and cozy in this spot. Yes it was tight, yes to fit i have to curl up like a ball. No it's not the least bit uncomfortable. And it was so comfortable that i felt like i was about to pass out with exhaustion. That is until something, big, casting a huge shadow from the lightning outside came marching into the cave. I listened to it, as it grunted stomping on the ground. Peering out of the place i was curled up, I couldn't tell what it was just by peering out in the darkness. But whatever it was, was sniffing the ground, and slowly pacing over to here. MY eyes widened at how huge it was, and all the muscle that flexxed as it moved. My breathe hitched as i slipped further into the tight space, trying to keep my emotionns under, control and not allow fear threw.

✳Biting my lip to keep from whimpering as tears continued their trail down my cheeks I preesed myself against the wall behind me, as best i could. Shaking with fear, as i stared out of the tight space, just waiting for the beast to pop up in front of the hole. And try to get to me. And that's just what it did, growled and tried to reach in pawing at me, But thank god it was to big to fit, and i had curled up enough i wasn't within reach of the thing.

➸ I shifted catching the scent of something big. but nothing i couldn't handle. i took off at a run through the woods. It was thundering and lightning outside but i didn't care. Especially when that girl was in danger. I sniffed the air, and took off running again. I ran into the cave and jumped, landing halfway on the beast. It was a good calculated jump, since it threw the massive thing off balance. It turned on me and growled. I snarled at it, talking another step forward. I wasn't in the mood to kill. No not right now. But my moods can change can't they? I jumped at it again. locking my teeth in it's neck scruff. I was on top of it now and I shook my head violently. It roared and turned it's body. Trying to shake me off. I jumped down and stood protectively in front of the girl.

➸ I snarled at the beast, I stayed by the girl and kept that thing away from her. It raised a paw and struck my face, leaving a large gash. I was thrown from my place. I hit the ground as it went after the girl. I stood up, and I ran back towards the beast. Getting between the beast and the girl, I snarled and snapped at the creature. Trying to drive it back.
