The bear roared in pain and stumbled backwards, trying to swat Willow off. Willow, Storm and Ink were in danger now. And a lot of it.

Just as the bear managed to throw Willow off, there was a brown blur and a loud roar. It was a young deer. Koji! Anyone could tell it was her from the scar on her shoulder from being shot by the humans. She headbutted the bear so hard that it forgot completely about Storm, Willow and Ink. It threw Storm off and dropped Ink, then turned and charged at Koji. Most deer would have run by now, but Koji owed Shadow pack one for helping her, and this was it.

Chako yelped as a pain slapped her side. The pups were coming!

Shade scented something was wrong. Now? They were a few days early! Shade ran towards were Chako was, yelling, "HELP!"

Yuki heard Shade and ran over to him. "What's wrong?" She worriedly asked.

"Chako's pups..They're early!" Shade whined. "Get Oliver!"

"I haven't seen Oliver in ages!" Yuki whined...

"Please, try," Shade sighed. He didn't want to make a mistake. Oliver and Willow were his superiors. They could do it.

"I'll try..." Yuki ran off as quickly as she could to find Oliver. "OLIVER! OLIVER!" She shouted, getting more frantic with each cry. What if he didn't show up?

Koji dodged the bear's attack and tried to anger it even more, trying to get it away from her friends. She snorted and watched as the bear reared up to charge at her and quickly looked at Willow, giving her a look that obviously said 'get out of here'

Chako yelped again. It hurt a lot. Why wasn't someone else helping? Shade was too scared, and Willow and Ghost were nowhere near camp.

Chiyo ran towards Chako and licked her all over, feeling so worried for her. "Mum...What's wrong?" He whined.

"Just the pups. Get Willow," Chako gasped. Shade saw the pleading in her eyes. If he ever saw Oliver again, that scum would pay for leaving the pack.
