Hiro scowled at the Eraser. He was about to call him an experiment! The glare he was shooting Storm was so cold it could've frosted over. The air around him began to get hotter and hotter, as if the sun were moving in on him. Of course, since the Eraser was on the same branch as him, he could feel it clearly as well, or so he hoped. Though he was sure the temperature was already nearing the triple digits around them, he wasn't bothered by it at all. And of course, since his arms were nowhere near being healed yet, there was still a fierce wind, his anger making it profusely hotter and hotter by the second.

Sighing softly I looked down at the blood on my hands and sighed. Fifteen years old and I'd already taken lives. While they all would have died one way or another even without my help, they were lives that I'd taken all the same. I'd probably feel the guilt later but for now, I couldn't worry about that as I wiped the blood off of my hands. "I guess you're right. Oh, and that boyfriend of mine, he actually did us some good. I hope Hiro hasn't tried to kill him yet."

Hiro didn't reply, but the wearther around just them was getting very peculiar as Hiro stared him down. Storm nervously smiled as leaded a little further from the boy. He kinda scared Storm a little.

Athena looked up at Fang. "Seriously!?" Athena sighed. "Wait. You left Hiro ALONE with an ERASER!? ARE YOU NUTS!" Athena wasn't about to lose another flock member! She quickly stood up looking all around for them. "Where are they?!" She demanded, getting a headache now from standing up too fast and the blow to the back of her had earlier.

"Chill Athena, have a little faith in me. He's in good hands." Knowing that my answer wouldn't satisfy her I spread my wings and flew up into the sky slowly just taking a breather. As my eyes locked on Hiro and Storm, I tilted my head slightly. As I came closer, my eyes widened and I realized what was up. Hiro was manipulating the atmosphere around him and Storm and it wasn't the nicest experience. Once I landed on the branch I began to feel extremely hot. It was so hot that I could have sworn I felt myself being singed. I wrapped my arms around Hiro and kissed his forehead gently. "Calm down before I burst into flames."

Storm saw Jinx and was instantly grateful she was back. "H-H-Hi Jinx." she managed to stutter out.

Athena followed Fang to Hiro and the Eraser. She held her head a little from the headache. But let go to show no weakness once she saw Storm.

Hiro's anger as well as the heat faltered when Jinx came back. He scoffed at what she had said. "You couldn't, not hot enough," he said, his emotions evident on his face. "I was getting there though..." he added, much softer than his previous statement. He resumed glaring at Storm, the heat having died down about ten or fifteen degrees. It was still unnaturally hot, though, and he planned to keep it that way as long as he was near the Eraser.

Sighing I nodded to Storm in a silent greeting before turning my attention back to Hiro. "Stop glaring, it's not polite. Without that Eraser you attempted to roast alive, I'd be dead or in the school. Whether you like it or not, he's the only reason I'm here and the only reason we all haven't been captured. He's a good puppy." Laughing softly I leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to Storm's cheek. It was my way of thanking him for what he'd done to ensure the flock's safety.

Hiro blushed and cast his eyes down when Jinx kissed Storm. The heat went away completely this time, but the wind was still raging. The heat was replaced by a small bitter coldness, though not nearly as cold as the first time.

Now that I'd realized that the different changes were fueled by emotion, there would be no way for Hiro to hide his feelings from anyone. As I looked into his grey eyes, I tried to think of what he could be feeling. The winds made it obvious that he was angry and still in pain but the coldness was a bit of a mystery for me. The first time, it had been because I left him alone but I was right next to him so he'd thrown me for a loop this time. "What's wrong sweetheart?" Aside from the adorable blushing, he was otherwise emotionally put together.

Ren had quickly taken out a whitecoat nearby and stole his tranquilizer. Now he was perched up in a tree, shooting whatever eraser he saw. He watched Hiro and Fang get into a tree, but then he saw the eraser, Storm, with them. And Fang kissed him on the cheek. Something clicked in him, whether it was jealousy or anger, and he felt himself move the gun until it was aimed at the Eraser, but didnt fire.
