i cant help but think this song helped inspire this pupSpeed over beethoven

and maybe this dog went with this song Sakura
but then again the closer i look at it i can see that the black is the trees and the purple could be a sky instead of leaves

I'll never look at that dog the same way again. Ya right- it REALLY looks like trees in the evening sky!

I really like how this turned out. The eyes really stand out to me and have a sweet expression. Plus, I love that small detail of the arrow on her tail. <3

I'm a bit disappointed with the DDR litter so far. Like, once I saw the newborn I was SO EXCITED, like, BOUNCING OUT OF MY SEAT EXCITED. DDR is one of my favorite games, ever. That pup make me flip out (in a good way) and well, I thought it would resemble the game a bit more. Like, the arrows going up the dog and such. There is a tiny little arrow on the tail and that's it

Still looks cool though, like, it looks mysterious and stuff and that's cool. Just wish it would resemble the actual game a bit more.

Ah well, there are still 3 more so I'll just have to wait and see.

I believe the artist said somewhere that the litter was based off of songs from DDR, not the actual gameplay of the game itself. I honestly don't think I'd like a dog design with DDR arrows all over it. I think that would look funny. xD

Kinda hard to tell though . It would be a lot easier if there were more arrows or maybe the name of a song on the tail or back or something? Idk, just putting the background to that one song doesn't really make it that special and stuff, it is just like all the other pets. Like, some pets are themed and some have random designs and I feel like this pet isn't really representing it's theme much.

I don't know lol, I know what I want to say in my head but idk how to explain it by typing XD

If it's meant to be simple and subtle, why should there be arrows or names, maybe this is exactly what it should be? |D But honestly, I saw that coming with all of the people freaking out over the newborn. :3

You are just expecting too much of a blanket. The blankets only give a hint of the theme, but sometimes it's so random - like this months cats so far.

CelestialDrake - I am sorry you were expecting something else more game-like but I always loved the music more than the actual game itself. That dog is suppose to be the song "Dark Black Forest."
"Into the Dark... Black... Forest." I think DDR and that is the first song that comes to mind.

Plus, Raire is correct. The blankets can be random but something gives hints. I just love me some random blanket designs but I thought that these dogs needed a bit of a hint to what they were all coming from... otherwise nobody would understand them. xD

And just writing out the song title would be pushing over the copyright line, don'tcha think?

Agreed and it would make the number of outcomes limeted in my eyes as there are only a few for DDR(up, down, left, right and enter)

I personally love the DDR pups so far.

I was very disappointed with the 2nd stage, but once the pink one grew I'm like ".....O.O" <--- Does that even make sense? XD

But anyways, I like the DDR dogs. c:
