I thought when we got the rarity bars that they were all rare? o-o

Nope, a bunch were still uncommon. Oh how I wish I remember which ones. |D The fox advent was one of the last to go rare.

@ Shay - You have the border collie listed twice (it's the blueish gray one with purple eyes and a white belly and all). The PPS's are all equal, with the Celestial PPS perhaps a little above them because of demand.

Sock dog and Snowflake PPS. One may be above the other, but I wouldn't know.
The BMD (Bermese Mountain Dog) and Black Advents are equal, and the Angel advent is worth as much, if not more than they are.
After them come the Timber Wolf and Hyena advents.
Then the two Border Collie looking ones, the Cookie advents, the gray advent with blue eyes, and the PPS set. The vixen may or may not be in this group - unsure.
The mustard advents and the various others I did not mention are here.
Fox advent and Christmas Tree dog here.

I left out a few, I know. Like the red and green sided holly dogs - I have never known where to place them.

Its bound to be popular,it is the only pure black dog on CS and it is georgeous.Although the angel advent is almost the same rarity.You could maybe trade 5 for one black advent unless you get lucky.

I up until recently thought the Black Advent was worth the least of the three (BMD, Angel, Black). I'm willing to concede that it's even with the BMD, but I think the Angel belongs above them.

This conversation is nowhere near done yet dear. The rarity lists here are built up by discussion on the subject, and not just a few comments and a list thrown out :]

Now... I really wasn't going to do anything about this before Jewel got off of her vacation so that there could be a proper discussion on the subject. But seeing as apparently everything has to happen NAAAOOOO, I'll bring in my own opinions on this.

I'm taking popularity heavily into account here, seeing as most the 'mid range' advents are equal in rarity, and then there is the little fact that the three VR advents are seriously not much sought after : /

I'd agree with that.

We'll definitely wait for Jeweled, two people's not enough to compile this accurately. I thought it would be easier, since I was just imagining the 3 more valuable ones, then the bulk of the common Advents in order of worth, then the more recently uncommon.

I dunno if I communicated that correctly. There's really suuuuch slight variation - I've swapped a Christmas Tree dog for a Timberwolf before, etc. The only notable ones are really the top three and whatever space the VRs exist in. It's good to have a list, but it's probably not necessary to go too crazy about it. Most people just want to know what the "common" ones are.

Personally I'd agree with you on that - "3 bulks". And I'd more than happily re-make my list into one. Makes it far easier on the trading.
My thing is just that I've been actively trading advents like mad since halloween 09 - and while I've been on that, I've noticed slight differences in how high people value certain advents, which ones are more liked etc :3

If we went with the 3 chunk thing, my list would be

1. Scarf PPS + Sockdog
Black Advent/Angel advent
Green holly
BMD
Hyena

2. Enter giant batch of dog advents and the cat advents here.

3. Enter all the 'Commons' I linked to in my "Advents that became recently rare" post here, plus mini huskies, rats, horses and lions.

I would argue that the BMD is right up there with the black and angel advents. :3

I like the whole three chunk list; it's easier on all of us and much more accurate in terms of actual rarity. However, I think we're needing a full out list, like Diabolic's first go at it - because I definitely would not trade my Timberwolf advent for one of the cream advents, per say. They can be lumped together in theory, but yet it wouldn't be quite as accurate.
