The Rat Lovers Club! V2

Took Baze to the Petco (20 minute drive) today to buy him a harness and a suit. His neck was too small for any of the rodent/kitten/dog harnesses but as I was buying the suit the guy suggested a reptile harness and it was completely adjustable. So we bought that as well as his suit. I haven't really used the harness yet, so I'll have to tell you more about that later. Now.... Baze in suit pictures!





Hopefully he will start getting use to it and stop putting his front paws through the neck hole soon lol.

I took a picture of all my rats together, it's a terrible image, took me a while to get them to stay lol XD

Also, update on Lucky.

all three abscesses are gone! He's healing QUICK!

Problem? Due to him being partially/fully blind I noticed he doesn't find food as much, and due to the abscesses being around his neck I noticed it's a little more painful (despite being on meds) for him to eat.

What can I give him? I can't afford a lot of baby food - can I make my own version with fresh fruits, veggies, noodles, egg and so on?

Hehe, they are still small though but it's funny because Badger is the boss lol. He's Mr Attitude who always hogs the food bowl and the house. XD

I'm assuming he's deaf but can like.. feel.. vibrations? if that makes sense?

i can sneak past him or talk to him softly he doesn't respond, i speak louder i see his ears flicker towards me.

Does Lucky manage to hold solid foods okay when you give them to him?
