" I don't know....." she trailed off, then she looked at him" I don't suppose you've ever heard of the time agents huh?"

The doctor walked over "How are you this fine evening?" he asked her.

He chuckled "No, what would give you sch a silly idea?" he asked her, lying with a practiced ease.

"I am quite well, thank you." Vesta smiled at the man, "What about you?" She asked, swinging her feet a little and sipping her tea.

(Which regeneration is the Doctor? )

[Rats.]

"Ah, well then if you haven't I guess I could tell you I left about 5 years ago after my friend disappeared, I guess I just couldn't travel with out em'." she said smiling slightly at the thought of her friend.

"I am very good." he answered, "May I join you?" he asked her.

He furrowed his brow feigning confusion, nodding internally.

" Well, this is me," She said pulling her key out of her pocket as they neared a tall apartment building.

"That is good." Vesta smiled at him again, "Sure, I wouldn't mind the company." She shuffled over on the seat

Jack nodded, and walked with her to the door, still holding her hand in is, his grip loosening though in case she wanted to slip her and out of his grip.

He nodded and sat up on the seat with her, arranging his trench coat out of the way. "My apologies, I have been incredibly rude, I am the doctor."

"I'm Vesta." She smiled, and held out her hand, feeling a little weird with the whole shaking hands. She wasn't brought up with it, and even though she had been around other people for quite a while, she still wasn't used to it.

She opened the door to the apartment building, walked up a flight of stairs and unlocked her apartment she handed Jack his jacket and took hers off, laying it over the arm of the single brown couch she had in the living room. Sitting down she asked,"do you want anything?" She straightened the blanket she had laying over the back of the couch.
