Nope...not a raccoon, it's a Coatii or Coatimundii.

Nope...not a raccoon, it's a Coatii or Coatimundii.

Coatis tend to have a lot less white than that, though, and the facial markings are all wrong. And most of the ones I've seen don't have as defined of rings on their tails as adults. Guess we just have to wait for Tyr to confirm whatever it is.

The colors are off, the facial markings are off.. I'm pretty sure it's a raccoon. It'd make more sense as well as It seems like its a theme for a North American woodland.

agreed, the facial markings have no similarities to the coatii
and it's small woodland creatures, I'm guessing well known ones (chipmunk, raccoon, skunk are my guesses)

The newborn ponies had a blanket with a night sky and evergreen/pine trees. 2nd stage still had the silhouettes of evergreen/pine forests. First full growth was a chipmunk, a creature commonly found in evergreen/pine forests. Would you do me the honor of explaining to me why it isn't a racoons which also commonly lives in a evergreen/pine forest, but is a coatimundi which lives only in the tropics/jungle?
