Please pray for my sister, she is in Alaska until July 20th. I haven't known life without my big sister until now, she only left 6 days ago. I guess I just want prayers for her safety while she is there. (:

BUT! I have some wonderful news.
Mmmm, I don't know, say a month ago? A teenager thats goes to my church was diagnosed with cancer (I can't recall the name of it right now) and we had a bunch of fundraisers and donations and things for the medical expenses. Well, the doctors just determined last week that all the cancer in his body is dead! <3 It's just so amazing to know what God can do for us with the power of prayer.
And secondly, for those of you who remember Lylah, please continue to keep her in your prayers. A brief recap - Lylah is a two year old that goes to my church, and her father is our youth minister(for the teens). Back in October, we found a huge tumor around her brain, and this thing was massive. The pressure in her skull with the tumor was around 52, when it should normally be around 10-13(if i remember correctly; don't hold this to me 100%). She was going through chemo and all that stuff, because the tumor actually ended up being cancerous. And this is a very rare, super aggressive cancer, and it had spread through much of her body. Back in January, her parents were told that at this point, the chemo doesn't seem to be affecting the cancer, but it was harming Lylah(after all, you're pumping your body full of poison). They said in January that she'd only have about a month to live. And, she's still here today. <3 About a month ago she started moving on her own again, and crawling and throwing balls and having so much fun!
The most exciting part though? We just found out on Wednesday, the doctors did another scan, and it appears the cancer is HALF ITS SIZE. This is so incredibly amazing!!! She's only 2 and a half now, and remember back in January they pretty much said she wasn't going to make it. Goodness, God is so amazing. <333

So, all I ask is that you guys keep praying for her, and for that boy too. Thanks!
