Baskus was agitated. It would happen any time now... The birthing of the foal. He so far today had checked the area three times for other stallions, gave Star food and asked her a million times if she was ready. He was impatient.

Ásta saw Spirit emerge from the trees and looked at him, then went back to searching for food. After a bit, she figured that she might as well get to know the stallion who was going to lead her. She walked over to him and nickered,"I'm sorry for questioning you earlier. I'm just so scared. But nevertheless, you are a smart stallion." She respectfully lowered her head, relaxed in te presence of her new leader.
(Shiner is going to go into Galaxy's herd, as soon as his owner gets on, btw)

Sacred Spirit

Seeing that the mare was looking for food, Spirit snorted, nudging Honesty and flicking his tail for Asta to follow as he led them to the meadow. Once there, he dug his hooves into the snow, revealing some fresh grass and stepped aside so his mares could eat if they wanted.

"No problem, I understand. There are many foolish ones who lead their herds into death." Spirit said quietly, not really minding. He shook out his mane, to get some snow off his coat.

"Thank you," she said, looking at the tempting vegetation. After a few minutes of wondering, she lifted her head up and asked,"Spirit, how did you get on this island?" Shiner had asked her, and now she wanted to ask him.

Star walked back slowly with her Dapple grey colt and a little weak chestnut filly the mare had, had twins

Sacred Spirit

Spirit nudged Honesty gently, knowing she was going to foal soon he had increased his guard. Looking at Asta, he let a smirk form on his face. "I swam here." He had lived here for two years, swimming here with desperation. He hadn't wanted to be anywhere that reminded him of his herd, wanted a solace from humans. And he had found one, here.

"Swam? I could barely stand after swimming for maybe less than 30 minutes!" She whinnied, astonished. She looked at the mare that he was nudging, and she was obviously due any second now. "There isn't anything that I could do, is there?" she asked, peeking at the palomino mare. She was apart of this herd now— they were family.
