Maximum Ride Roleplay

Hiro narrowed his eyes and growled, irritated. Now he'd have to help ward off Erasers and whitecoats, and he really wasn't in the mood for a fight. Oh well, here goes, he thought, angling himself toward where they had landed.

Athena followed Fang into the forest and landed next to her and Ren who was now not in the best condition for an Eraser fight.

Dr. Alex watched the Bird kids dive down into the forest. He looked at the eager Erasers awaiting his command. "FIND THEM, AND BRING THEM BACK TO ME! ALIVE!!!"

Hiro landed gracefully beside Athena, tucking his wings quickly behind his back. He had a pained look on his face, though he had no injuries, and he was dying to say something, but he'd save it for when they weren't being hunted down by the School.

Groaning I peeled myself off the ground and stretched before finally snapping back into battle mode. I assessed the damage and so far, all we had was a loopy Ren who was pretty much useless. How splendid. Even better, he was much bigger and taller than me so flying a long distance while carrying him wasn't much of an option. My eyes came to Athena even though I knew she was fine and finally came to rest on Hiro who didn't look too good. He looked as if he were in pain though at face value he seemed fine. "You ok Hiro?" Instead of the gentle loving tone I often used when addressing him, my voice came out gruff with a slight growl. There was no time to be all sweet at the moment because it wasn't important. We had maybe ten minutes until we would be discovered and all hell would break loose.

"Yeah," Hiro said quietly, wiping the look off his face. He looked in the direction he thought was where those things were, dreading what was to come. He looked at Jinx, a battle-ready face on. "What's the plan?"

"There's only one way out of this so we're going to fight. None of the petty just knocking one of them out or somehow incapacitating them either. We just, we can't risk that. This time we're going for blood. Let them know that we're not kidding and hopefully we can scare them off for a while so we can do some surveillance and figure out where Riley and Knight are." Running my fingers through my hair I pushed it out of my eyes before continuing in a slightly softer tone. "If things go bad, I want you gone. Fly home and stay there." I knew he wouldn't even if I begged but just for my piece of mind I wanted him to say he would do it. The last thing I wanted was for my nightmares to become a reality.

Hiro shook his head before she even finished her sentence, "Unthinkable, I'm not leaving you." He looked her in the eyes, just for a moment showing the true despair he would be put through again if he had to leave her alone, and here, of all places. He would be fine with her taking a bathroom break at Mickey D's, but in a forest with Erasers? Forget it.
