"Oh..." I murmured, looking at Aaron. I didn't know that. It must've been horrible, spending a birthday like this. "I'm so sorry, I didn't think-" I bit my lip, glancing down. Why did all of this have to happen?

Abel stands up and then extends a hand to the young woman, "I think we should look for some people with our goods and fire. The water in my bottle will not last long i think between the two of us so water should be looked for as well."

Aaron pukls her close, "its ok. I had a great time and got drunk." He chuckles. He shakes his head at thhe stuff.

Crystal takes his hand. She doesnt let go as they walk, "I dont know whybut you make me feel safer. You remind ne of my older brother."

"Shouldnt we bring our things with us, just in case?" he asks when they first start walking." He listens quietly to her voice,"I'm glad you feel safe with me." is all he saysin responce to her comments as he walks with her.

Crystal says, "i already have all my stuff."

"Well i need to get mine." Abel responds, "and wrap itin my towel so i dont loose it all." he offers a wan smile and gently tugs her hand towards the way that they had come.

I faked a smiled, "Of course." I just hoped he was happy. I don't want him to be like me, whose still trying to believe that this is all a dream. But then again, who wouldn't? I was to distracted by my own thoughts to have even noticed him pull me closer.

Abel tilts his head curiously, "If you do that, we take turns carrying the bag." he agrees as they make the beach again.
