Hermione squatted down and stared at one of the mushrooms, wondering what it's properties where. She opened up a small notebook she kept with her at all times, then started to scribble in it. Hermione looked up questioningly at the mushroom after a second, then asked it, "I wonder if you're poisonous... or causes some magical thing or something..." She questioned it as if it would talk back. Hermione sighed and shook her head, then went back to writing.

Seth chuckled, giving her arm a slight squeeze before leading her towards the others. He took notice of the fact that she wasn't wearing anything on her feet, and grinned, amused by it. Looking around, the male made sure that there was nothing spilled on the ground like glass or food. Seth walked slowly, concentrating on the scenery before relaxing. It would be quite upsetting if Akumi cut her foot on something, and he imagined that she didn't want attention like that being drawn to her. Feeling protective of the delicate girl, Seth would do his best to make sure she didn't get any of that unwanted publicity.

"The dress is lovely." He commented warmly, glancing down at her, and then back at everyone else. "Did you make it yourself? You seem to have a knack for things like that." Seth had recalled Akumi saying she had made most of her outfits, so it seemed likely that she would have made this one. The colors on it were quite lively, and for Seth it seemed to make the air around the ball much more inviting.

Luki walked nervously into the Ballroom.
He looked around the room hoping to spot Orioe somewhere but there was not sight of her.
As Luki was walking around searching for her he decided to admire the wonderfully decorated ballroom.
"I hope she likes my suit.."he whispered quietly.

"Iz okay.." He hesitated and was about to add that he was too, but decided against it. He made his way to perimeter of the room where the refreshment tables were set, carefully weaving in between the other kiamaras and making sure not to collide with them. He walked to the table with the punch, his hand still clutching Margarita's. "Vant zome?" he asked, glancing at the bowl filled with red juice then back at Rita.

"That would be great. My n-name is Zeera." She said quietly, allowing herself to be led to the dance floor. She felt her face turn beet red. "It's nice to meet you." she added quickly, not knowing what else to say.She thought of maybe feigning sickness, but she promised a friend she would try and be more social at the ball.

Oriole looked down and straightened her dress out. Is it a bit too fancy? She thought, a little stressed. She fiddled around with the pink jewels on her dress for awhile. Then, she looked at the entrance and saw her date, Luki. She breathed in and out, trying not to get too stressed. "Luki!" Oriole called him, as she walked towards him.

She sighed as she sat down alone at a table. She looked around at the Kia's socializing and wondered why she wasn't like them. She shrugged it off and looked at a clock across the room to look at them time. She squinted her eyes abit to see if she could read the time but I didn't work," Danggit.."
