I pulled away and flashed him a fanged grin. "Would it kill you to smile?" It was odd to see him without an easygoing smile plastered to his face and I wasn't exactly fond the grim expression that seemed to be more prominent in his features.

Ren flickered a small smile. "I'm just worried." He said. They where pretty much alone in the cave, other then Hiro.

"I'm not." Shrugging I pulled my knees up to my chest and stared out at the cave's opening. I was itching to fly but I'd feel guilty for leaving him behind if I did.

Athena soared high in the clouds until she found a fast food restaurant. She quickly and stealthily flew behind the building and landed half gracefully. She hid her wings and walked in, placing a very large order. She pulled out her emergency card that she had gotten a long time ago and used it. She grabbed the bags then went behind the building again and took off, rocketing to the sky. She flew back to the cave unsteadily. She landed almost dumping the food everywhere. "I'm back." the said passing out bags full of food to everyone.

At the smell of food, Jess woke up and groggily sat upright, grabbing the warm, delicious smelling bag that Athena handed her. She tore it open like a savage and started eating, mostly by muscle memory since she wasn't quite awake yet.

When Hiro got his food, he got up and walked as far back as he could while still keeping the others in sight and sat down, opening the bag quietly. He didn't know why, but he hated it when people watched him eat. It felt like a violation of privacy, and he was nothing if not private.

Athena smiled as everyone took their food and dug in. She flopped onto the ground, letting her wings flop as well, and opened her own bag and began to eat half viciously due to her hunger.

The moment I had food in my hands I left the cave and was flying around and eating quite happily. I had a French fry complex thanks to years of everyone staling my French fries so I liked to distance myself from them during meals. That and I didn't want them to witness a hungry Jinx demolishing food at an astounding speed. It wasn't a very pretty site at all.

Hiro watched Jinx fly off, and though he knew it was so nobody could steal her food or anything, he still got kinda...well, he didn't know what he felt. This feeling was...not new, just...forgotten. He felt...sad. He was sad that his moth--leader was leaving him, even if it was just for a few minutes. Suddenly, the air around him got really cold, though the night had been extraordinarily warm just moments before. Every hair on his body stood straight up and he stood, turning around to see what was making the air so cold, but all he got was a face full of rock wall. Did the others feel it? It was too cold for them to not feel it; but why did that happen?

Jess paused in her incessant munching, putting down the burger and wrapping her arms around herself. "Is it just me, or did it just get really cold?" she asked hesitantly, looking at each of the others in turn, landing lastly on Hiro, with his nose still touching the wall. "Hiro, you okay?" she asked. He jumped slightly, then turned back and sat by his food, shaking his head once.

After a few blissful minutes of scarfing down food fast enough to make the average person sick, I flew back into the cave and sat down near the entrance and stared up at the moon. Something about the fact that the moon and stars would always be around no matter what, comforted me and helped me believe that not all was lost. I bought my knees up to my chest and a small smile played at my lips. I would have given anything to have had my guitar at a moment like this.

Ren looked at the had, but hadn't opened it yet. Once Fang left he frowned slightly, feeling coldness reach him.
