Name Origin ::

Phaethon (fay-uh-thon), in Greek mythology, is the son of the sun god, Apollo (Also known by the name of Helios). In the story, Phaethon asked his father's permission to ride the sun chariot in order to impress the son of Zeus. Apollo agreed under the condition that Phaethon did not drive the sun too high or low into the sky. Phaethon disregarded this and ended up crashing the sun into the earth, causing a surge of fire. This Nimlet was named after this mythological character for two reasons; one, his fiery pelt recalls images of sun and fire, and two, his my-way-or-no-way personality isn't much different from the original Phaethon's.

Personality ::

Phaethon is usually very relaxed, and even when things excite him his attention span does not last long. He's quite a wanderer with no real motivation in mind; have something interesting to do? He'll likely tag along. Around other Nimlets he is pretty casual and tends to stay somewhat quiet. When he disagrees with something or someone he will go against it immediately, almost with no thinking beforehand. He's okay with company but is fine on his own as long as there is something to entertain him. Most consider his lazy personality and assume he's stupid; surprisingly, he can be quite smart in certain situations.

Likes and Dislikes ::

Phaethon's favorite thing to do is whatever he wants to do. This changes by the hour. One moment he will be chasing a butterfly and the next he will be watching crime shows on his owner's lap on Netflix. Yeah, he's pretty unpredictable. You would think having nothing to really do in your life would be depressing but Phaethon just sort of rolls with it. No matter what mood he's in, he seems to enjoy busy, crowded places where he can hide and spongy materials. His favorite snack is an apple but when he's bored he has this quirk of chewing on basil for hours. While he's pretty easygoing, there are definitely some things he hates. Being confined is a huge no, and Phaethon will get anxious the second his freedom is taken. He also doesn't like loud noises or being submerged in water. Most of all, he doesn't like routine. Phaethon will do whatever he wants when he feels like it and the thought of sticking to a schedule is just ridiculous for him.

Anything Else: He's so dang awesome .__. His regal appearance often demands the attention of others, and he has a personality to fit his looks. He holds himself high and carries himself with dignity and honor. Besides this he is wise and thoughtful, and never speaks a foolish word.

I hope I'll win him, but congrats on who wins this beautiful boy!

« TANDIE »

Tandie is a name derived from the word 'tandr', coming from Old Norse, which means fire. The reason I chose Tandie in the first place is because of his flaming pelt, the red colors forming a beautiful palette. Another reason for choosing Tandie is because of the adorable ring to it, mocking the wee lad. Other than that, there I just find the name Tandie endearing.

Tandie is a little firecracker, a short fuse this one got. Ever since he was a kit, Tandie never really has had a calm outlook. This causes some people to back away from his company and tread lightly when they chat. He'll even go as far as to explode with rage and usually someone ends up with an injury.
« FLIRTATIOUS »

Tandie is a flirtatious buck, attempting to sweet-talk any age that comes near. Poor Tandie, though, can't figure out that most of them find his attempts a joke. Will Tandie ever find love, and settle down? Or, will he spend his years imagining a fake fantasy?
« IMPULSIVE »

Tandie is an impulsive little fellow, doing whatever comes to mind. The lad can barely think without doing something stupid and it bothers everyone around him. At times, it seems hopeless to tell him what to do seeing as how he'll do whatever, frustrating, right?

The kid is ADD. His attention span is of a dead fish. You can be talking about the best thing in the world and he'll find something better. Tandie is always packed with energy and won't tucker out until moving gets boring as well.

Even though Tandie is always twitching with excitement, he can still be an organization freak. This clashes horrendously with his other traits and he will always end up torn. The guy can pull a one man act, what can I say? Now, do you think he has a problem?
« LOYAL »

Tandie will walk with you to the end of the earth, loyal to all of his friends. He won't ever betray your trust and will work with everything he has to be the best. Have a frown? He'll fix it. Need a laugh? He'll be there! Tandie is someone you want as an ally and someone to keep forever.

Mango is usually cranky in the morning,unlike his color, and he is always happy to help others in need.


Favorite Fooood!

Mango's favorite food is (obviously) mangoes and he likes drinking Coke. His second favorite food is spaghetti and meatballs, which in that case he gets very messy.
