My gosh, I used to love to watch that movie but this is about lord of the rings....
On topic, what is your first impression of Bilbo? I think he's a quiet, different hobbit that is reserved and not all that wise. He's naive to me.

I guess my first impression is that he's particular about things and likes to stay in his comfort zone. I kind of get mixed impressions about how social he is. On one hand, he seems more reserved like you said and likes to be alone, but I also kind of get the impression that he would like to hang out with friends, but people can be both of those ways. He seems kind of dramatic sometimes. I don't think he has many friends, though. Maybe he had more friends before he went with the dwarves.
