LOL Gren is correct if a spirit had a mother who died it would rightly latch on to someone that reminds them of their momma.

My sister is one year old, she'll be two on the 21st.
She has a room of her own right next to mine. The only way to get
to hers is to cross through mine.
Now, in her floor is a dip. If you stand in the doorway from my room to hers,
you can't see the dip. It's used for storage.
My mom uses my sister's room as a sewing room until Lydia will be big enough to come
upstairs and sleep in there. So my mom keeps blankets and fabrics in the dip in the floor.
Right now Lydia's only about three feet tall,
but the dip's about five feet down.

And there's
large handprints on the windows above
the dip in the ground. Nobody has any need to scare the crap out of
me like that, everyone knows I'll get them back.

If i understood this right..
Uhm, if the dips have 'fallen' multiple times, then i'll recommend you to remove the dips. The entity doesnt like it to be there, and you dont know if it'll get mad.
Anyways, if it only have happended once, it could've just fallen.

Umm yes because you don't realize what could happen to your body. The demon could do anything to you. Including physically harm you in more than one way.

yes, sorry, possesion is just bad. I've had experiances simular to possesion. thay weren't much fun. by simular think direct (telepathic) communication + total immersion. in short I got to 'live' the memory or experiance being shown to me but my physical body was safe and I got to maintain some seperation from the experiance. Its a bit hard to describe but it was more like watching a movie through the eyes of the character while being able to feel the physical and mental anguish of the character but still having the knoledge that your not the character. If I had lost that distinction, I don't know what that would have done to me. For this reason I, personaly have declined invitations to join teams before. I know my limits and not just with the paranormal, the people who often want to do this work simply don't appeal to me. Even more the seers, sensitives, etc thay attract *shivers*

No, there's one dip and a window above the dip.
That's where the handprints are.

I have I guess what you would call a knowing sense of where a spirit is in the room I haven't gotten a invite to join any teams. I have lived through memories that aren't mine one of the ones that effect me the most was was living through a mom of the civil war era and she had a son and her husband was a confederate soldier she was attacked by Union soldiers. As in attacked (don't make me explain the way she was attacked.) I watched as she died and her son cried as her husband came home and he was in pain as he realized she was dead he truly loved her. And I lived through all of that I don't know why I was showed those memories but now her son follows me. I can't convince him to go to the other side either.

I was about nine or ten, But I was having a sleepover at my best friend's house. It was us, and another girl. We decided to walk around her house. We saw movement in the kitched. But it looked like a young child, A little girl, about 4 or 5. The weird thing was, The girl had a little brother who was at her Aunt's house (Or grandmother's). So, We went back to bed, Not really caring about it. About an hour later one of the girls woke up, She saw two bloody hand-prints on the wall. We saw where she pointed and it was a clean wall. Another hour later a blue crayon was on the floor, and two words where written in messy writing on the wall "See me?" We completely flipped. We ran to her parents room, and told them what was on the wall, when they got back nothing was there. We went back to sleep, Me and another girl woke up. A small little girl wearing a bloody yellow-white nightgown with her hair in a braid standing at the T.V. She turned and walked closer, "A friend, a friend" The little girl said. Then she just vanished. The next day me and the other girl where happy to go home. I looked up the house my friend lived at. A girl that was 7 years old died in the house that my friend lived in, With her friend escaping, She died in a murder in 1923. I swear I never stepped foot in my friend's house ever again. But a few times my sister's letter magnets put in the words "See me" and I see a small shape walk through the hallways at night.
