Shane's grip was tight on his wand, but it went flying from his grip. He was getting light headed from being held upside down and he swallowed. He chuckled. "Sneak up on you?" he questioned after a moment. "I want to know why you attacked me, I come looking for my friend...here she is." he pointed to Luna. "And I get petrified? I could report you, you know. I'm a seventh year." he was confused, but kept going. "I didn't sneak up on you...and besides you yelling a spell at me I heard nothing. Now let me down before I throw up." he hated being upside down, and he was anxious to be returned to his upright position.

"I would'nt command someone like me around." she hissed, but decided not to make him throw up. "Liberacorpus" she said and he fell to the ground She examined his wand but held a tight grip on it. "So, what is your name?" she said and looked up from the wand to him.

"Give me my wand." Shane was obsessed with his wand. 11 and a half inches, ebony and veela hair. It was beautifully carved, and he didn't like other people touching it. "I'm not going to hex you, I want an explanation. Or is that how you greet everyone? You're hellos need some work." he said bitterly. "Shane." he responded, not seeing the harm in telling her his name.

Codi didnt like doing this, but gave him his wand. She kept a tight grip on her wand, and was ready to speak Parseltounge if needed. "Nice to meet you, and no that is not my hello. Luna and i," she gestured twords Luna, "where talking about something that no one else needs to know."

[Despondency.]

"We were talking about snakes. Do you like snakes shane?" Luna cocked her head slightly, watching the tension. "Codi. I do believe there is a prefect coming..."

Codi whipped around to Luna. She stalked forward to her, and then got into her ear. "I told you not to speak about it." she whispered to where Luna can understand her, then said, "Dont speak about it again." in Parseltounge in Luna's ear then turned around. "I dont see a prefect." she said and then turned to Shane. "Yes.. we where talking about snakes.."

[Despondency.]

Luna rubbed her ear. It tickled slightly. She glanced back at the grounds, and no one was there. perhaps a ghost. Luna jumped to her feet, and dug into her robe pockets. "ah-ha!" She exlaimed, producing a pair of spectespecs. "Can never be to careful."

Codi shrugged off the fact that Luna didnt react to her speaking like a snake. "Yes... sure.." she said quietly. "Luna, so Shane is your friend?"

"hmm. Well. That would be nice. I don't really have any friends." Luna smiled, putting her glasses on.
