Well, there are many reasons why I look up to them. I'll say the main three.

One: The band has gone out of their way to tell stories of past experiences and troubles, yet in a way that they're somewhat encouraging others out of doing the same. They don't have to, but they do. They could just have other writers- high professionals- write the songs about romance and how much they want their "perfect girl" but they make their songs so they can help others. They've saved plenty of lives, from what I've read and heard- including mine. So, naturally, yeah; I'd consider them pretty epic.

Two: They obviously aren't afraid to be themselves, or help others with genuine concern. Like, for example, after a concert, they don't just ditch the place like some others do; they at least talk to one or two fans they're concerned about. That, or they linger for a while afterwards. And, if you've seen the interviews, you'll know what I mean when I say they aren't afraid to be themselves. They haven't- and never will- let fame change them. They have amazing personalities overall ♥

Three: To put this simply, let's just say they've overpowered things I'm still struggling to defeat. They're really just my inspirations, and are to many others, too. They've really shown that you can defeat the bad and become anything you want to.

speaking of fans being saved by bands...
my friend had stopped listening to bvb for a while. she was actually on the verge of committing suicide at this point. she heard the song savior and eventually disowned any thoughts of suicide. it was a miracle, but Black Veil Brides saved her life.

now I like them even more.
it's amazing, I've never heard of bands / singers like jb or 1d saving someone's life like that.

bvb has actually kind of helped me out with life.
but through all of this, the people I thank the most are the other bvb fanclub members.

i'm actually listening to ptv right now :33 the first time i listened to them it was bulletproof love and i immediately put another song on because i thought like hell that voice is annoying .. and then a month later i thought i'd give them another chance and well i listned to them for 2 hours.. :333 ^^
Adam Young saved my life and BVB inspired me and helped me through it :33 <333
i bought a pen to write on t.shirts and stuff today and i took an old black top of mine and put "get off your knees!" and asking alexandria in small in a corner on it.. i'll wear it tomorrow ^^
and if i'd find the charging cable to adapt my phone to my computer i could even post a pic... xD

that girl just missed happiness ..^^ i suppose in some cases the music just has to make you happy and in others it has to help you through deeper problems, like possibly BVB or PTV can, because their lyrics are about these problems and pierce the veil (meaning pulling the problem by the roots, ain't it? ^^)
