The Army of Trophies ~ A Super Smash Bros. fanclub

I have seriously never heard of .hack. o_o

EDIT: I was thinking about writing a fanfiction about how characters get into Smash Bros. and such. Problem is, I don't really know how to explain the trophy thing. (It's going to basically be Nintendo characters getting invited to some SSB headquarters place.) Any help? And does it sound like a good idea?

I had a fanfition/ OC fic idea where the OC works in the Smash Mansion Staff and is trained by Lin to be a smasher, then later enters a contest to become one.

^ In my SSB fanfic, it's going to be mostly about Villager, but there'll be some perspective-switching (it's going to be in first-person, incidentally). Also, I'm going to have one of the original characters (most possibly Link) saying "We were all newcomers once."

Also, I was stalking Zelda Dungeon when I saw this in somebody's signature:

I came up with the idea that the trophies were replicas of Nintendo characters created by the hands, and some of them were chosen to be fighters (hence the collection trophies). Anyway, I'll start typing now. *Opens WordPad*
I don't know what to call it, though.

My name's Villager. No, really. Don't ask me how I got that name. It's just my name, okay?
I was checking my mailbox this morning. Just boring old letters from Tom Nook and stuff... But then I noticed something interesting. It was an envelope with a blue circle on it. Across the blue circle was some kind of plus sign. I opened it.
The letter said:

"To Villager,
You have been chosen for the currently-unnamed fourth Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U and 3DS! Should you choose to accept this challenge, go through your town's gate. There will be a portal to the place you need to go there. What is that place? It's a secret!

The Smash Master."

That video never gets old. XD (It's still on the Wii's Nintendo Channel - it's called Super Smash Bros. Trailer 3 or something.)

Is there already a name for the SSB fandom? If not, I shall call them Smashers. And Okami fans Okamitakus.
