I am worried that they might not even have it. Its a huge part of the book, so I am hoping he kept it. But it isn't enough to make me walk out of the movie.

I thought he looked pretty good. If you think back to years ago he really would have (And did) look like a puppet. I am hoping he looks better in the movies, and remember, we did only see his head.

I thought that he looked pretty good for what little we saw. It will probably look a lot better in the big screen.
The spider stuff is my favourite part of the hobbit. It was the chapter that I always asked my mum to go back and re read when I was a kid.
But with the hobbit becoming three movies, there is less chance of it being cut out completely and i think there was a glimpse of that part in the trailer.

Yeah, the spider climbed on the tree behind Bilbo. The spider part was my favorite part too, I have been trying to find extra time before computer time to read the Hobbit again.
