Codi clearely did not see the girl skipping twords her. She continued talking to the snake in Paraceltounge, and then the snakes father came up. It started asking questions, and then she ordered them to begone. Paraceltounge's could order away to snakes.

Luna stopped dead in her tracks. There was someone there, talking to themselves. But as she squinted her eyes, she saw something...No. two things? She stepped closer and- Snakes. But..That would mean...Luna was very, very confused. They could obviously speak Paraceltounge. Odder and odder.

Codi said goodbye in Paraceltounge to the snake as they slithered away. She stood up and turned around. She whipped out her wand when she saw a girl behind her and shouted: "Petrificus Totalus!" and her wand shot out invisible ropes and binded the girl. She narrowed ehr eyes and stared at the girl.
