History:
During the course of a winter night on November 5, 2000, I was asleep in my room, in the basement. Suddenly I was awoken by the sound of my sister Lizzie's screaming. I thought she might have fallen and broken something. So I got up and out of bed, suddenly my father and mother started to yell, the screaming like a girl sound belonged to my father.... Suddenly i knew something was up. I hid in my closet, it was all I could think of. Suddenly I heard footsteps walk back out the door.... When I thought it was safe I escaped. I saw no signs of forced entry on the front door so I thought it was all my fault, I thought I left the door open. I was the last one to arrive home, last person to arrive home from school. Last person awake.... I should have locked the door, I knew I must have forgotten to lock it, I just knew it.

I woke up naturally, I was so glad that I had 'accidentally' crushed my alarm clock, when my family and I were moving and, I ran it over with my car. But suddenly I got a text from her aunt and uncle wishing her a pretty early happy birthday. I had asked them if they knew that my birthday was on the twentieth of June and not June fifteenth. I had gotten no reply so I got out of bed and started to brush my long bright blue hair. it was like a wild animal. I had so much trouble brushing it so i just left it in little curls at the bottom. I put on my favorite sweater and a cute pair of tights with a few little pictures of hello kitty on the bottom. I left the house because I still forgot that I left my mint green converse in the car. I grabbed them and returned to the house. I put them on after I put on a pair of bright blue socks with little penguins on them. I knew that the penguins were a little out of time because it was summer and not winter, but I loved penguins so I wore them.
