dapple beat his wings quickly, struggling to get to his home at the top of the tree. he landed quietly in his abandon bird's nest and flopped on his side. he had just out run a dog! being the size of a small cat didn't help the fact that living in the forest was dangerous.
he had been the smallest out of his three littermates, only growing to be about the size of a small puppy. after his kit stage he stopped growing. after he left his mother, dapple figured the safest place would be in a tree. that's when he learned his talent to climb and earned his charm from the pack leader.
he turned his head to look at the little leaf shaped charm that dangled at the base of his tail. he was proud of his talent. He did love to climb trees, and he rarely ever lost his grip on any type of bark, even when wet.
He laid back of his side and enjoyed the warmth of the sunlight that gave him his name.
