Joshua slowly opened one eye to see himself staring Reeve in the face, their noses practically touching. It was a little too close for Joshua's comfort so he scuttled back and accidentally fell off the bed.

With a sharp yelp Joshua's butt hit the floor. He gave a soft hiss up at Reeve. "Jerk…said you could sleep by me, not cuddle…"

Reeve chuckled, rolling on his side. "Ya need to be more specific next time, then." He flexed his wings, splaying the raven-like feathers and yawning. "Hmn.., be a dear, Fairyboy... Get me some food, aye?"

"Uh…how about…no." Joshua frowned at Reeve. He stood up, dusted himself off, and slid into the bed again. "I have a better idea."

"Why don't you get me some food, after all you are my servant~" Joshua knew it would piss Reeve off.

Reeve chuckles, "Servant? Hardly."

He slid off the bed and got to his feet, stretching and fanning out his wings. "Mmn. There's a donut place. Just down the street. I'll take a hoodie and go. Want anything, darling dearest? Sweetie flum pie?"

"I want food. The edible kind. Get me some chocolate donuts and no coconut. You know how much I hate coconut." Joshua sprawled out on the bed, yawning and stretching.

"Get a move on, servant~"

Grinning, Reeve turned around to face him. He placed an arm on his chest ad bowed, twilight-drenched wings fanning out behind him. "As you wish, my lord."

He then righted himself and snatching his hoodie off the back of a small wooden chair in their room that'd been there when they moved in. He tucked his wings in as he slipped it on, then looked back to Josh.

"Any cash, my lord? I ain't got any on me."

Joshua sighed and got up. He pulled out a small wallet and got out some cash. He passed it to Reeve and growled," Get your own money sometime, jerk."

As his friend turned to leave Joshua slapped Reeve's ass on his way out. "Come back in one piece."

His feathers ruffled at the slap, a dark, satisfied chuckle escaping him. "As you wish."

He stalked out of the apartment, shutting the door soundlessly behind himself and locking it. When you're a pair of fallen angels, you can never be too careful. That's why there was a small ring of salt shielding the door, after all. Reeve hurried down the stairs and quickly started down the street to get some food for him and his...friend.

Joshua sighed and flopped down on the floor in front of the TV. He lazily flipped through the channels until landing on Cartoon Network. Not really interested, the Fallen watched the characters on the screen for the next fifteen minutes.

Joshua stretched his wings with a small groan, shutting his eyes and arching his back like a cat on a commercial.

Well. He was still in one piece, though there were a few...strands, hanging off.

There was suddenly loud knocking on the glass door leading to their balcony, and the person knocking, was Reeve. He had a bag of donuts in his hand (slightly crushed, but under the circumstances it was still good), but...his hoodie. It was gone. And even the short time out in the sun had brought out the horrors of exposure.

His nose was bleeding silver; ichor, but the kind only dark angels possessed. His wings, which were splayed behind him, had begun to molt, dropping inky feathers and leaving them ragged and disgusting. His eyes were bloodshot which made their husky hue stand out even more desperate.

"Josh!" His voice was ragged; pathetic. "Open the friggin' door!"
