Chase nodded. "Chaser. Why?" he asked, wondering where she was going with this.

"Me too! How about we do a little practice later?" Adrina said happily, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.

He liked the idea, but they were in separate houses. "My team members will think I'm leaking secrets to you or something..." he said a bit awkwardly. "But...sure, I guess. As long as we don't talk about technique or matches."

Adrina nodded. "That's fine, I really don't care about the matches. I just want to throw the Quaffle around for a while. Nobody will talk to me within the team, unless it's to belittle me."

Chase frowned. "Well, that sucks." he said, as if it weren't already clear. "Why don't we practice now?" he offered, hoping to bring her mind off of her team mates.

Adrina nodded, her outlook brightening. "Sure, sounds great! Accio Firebolt!" she said, pulling out her wand. "My parents bought it for me as a...going-away present."

Chase nodded. "I'm going to get a new broom soon, now I have a Nimbus 2001...not the best, but it's good enough."

Adrina smiled. "It works, doesn't it? Personally, the Firebolt's a little slow for my taste. My old Corvette from the States was much better."

((Do you guys know that part in the HalfBlood Prince that Slughorn and Haagrid are drunk, and that Harry finally gets the right memory about Tom? When Slughorn talked about a fish he once got, that changed from a lily leaf? And that it was Lily who gave him? And the day that the fish was gone and the bowl empty, Lily died..... that brought tears to my eyes...))
