Personality: Petal is friendly, and often busy, too. She is always rushing to get things done, and hardly has free-time. If she could do anything with her time, she'd help out her friends and do things with everypony. Unfortunately, with so many tasks to do, like help out in the flowershops in Canterlot, she's often found rushing around, too busy to show any emotions, even!
History: She was born and raised in Manehattan, with a bigger sister to show her the way most of her life. Her parents had to work all day and were only home for holidays, celebrations, and weekends. Then, she got an offer from Princess Celestia to come and help out the flower stores in Canterlot. She said farewell to her family and went to Canterlot to start her works. She started out by just being a cashier. One day, somepony dropped their arrangement of roses, and shattered the petals and stems. The manager and arrangers tried their hardest to repair the flowers, but failed. they were about to throw the arrangement in the garbage when they noticed Petal trying to use her magic and grab the arrangement. They offered her a chance to help, and after a few seconds of failed attempts, Petal finally arranged the roses' petals and stems so that they fit beautifully, so much so that the manager offered to let her be the main arranger. Since then, she 'd been trotting from store to store and rushing to get all her arrangements finished at once.
Talent: Arranging flowers. (I would expand more if I knew more fancy words :P)
Other: I absolutely adore her and would love to win, but please, if you get a tie including my entry, ignore this whole post.

Rose has a very quiet persona. Her friends find it hard to communicate with her, therefor she is usually found in a corner, reading the Narnia series. With her free time, which she has a lot of, she enjoys walking around forests and observing the wildlife, especially the plants. Being cream coloured, Rose Has to be careful of letting herself get dirty, so she wears a white anorak.

History:

As a filly, Rose lived the high life in Canterlot, as her father was Shining Armour, and her mother was Princess Cadence. When she grew older, she was swept up in a storm and blown away to Fillydelphia. She then was bought up on the outskirts of the city, by a family that was not poor, but not rich. When she was old enough to leave, Rose traveled to Canterlot, but she could not get near her parents. Desperate for money, she slept in the gardens, amongst the flowers. One day, she was picking some roses and arranging them into bouquets. Suddenly, a pony trotted by, and the large bouquet caught her attention. Begging Rose to sell the bouquet to her, she explained that it was her sister's wedding day, and she was to get a bouquet for the bride. Rose explained her situation and immediately the pony offered her a large market stall, and five hundred pony dollars to get her started. Rose now runs the stall as a florist, and she almost has enough to pay for a ticket to the castle, where she can find her parents once again.

Talent:

Rose's talent, as you may have guessed, is identifying and arranging flowers. This she enjoys to the utmost, and she has used it to her advantage.
