(Rose, you're not displaying the best manners either. I know you're not in the best mood, (obviously) but Shadow wasn't trying to be rude. Skystar used to be fighting Tigerstrike, but Winterfur turned all evil on her, so Skystar was distracted. Tigerstrike can still attack her, but I'd like it (It isn't required.) if you would put something about that in there. Oh, and Brightpaw just picked up Cloudkit to carry her to the leader's den. Earthpaw is about to pick up Twistedkit. Sorry, Rose. I did see that post, I just haven't had time or inspiration to reply. I will work on that either tonight or tomorrow, though. No, I haven't read them, but I've been told to by several people. Why? Ugh, I have to go. Edit this when I get back!
EDIT: Thanks, Junee! ^^ Ugh! I had Brightpaw, Earthpaw, and I had started Nightfall's when I clicked a link by mistake and lost it all!!!!!!!! v.v *sigh*)
Battle
Earthpaw took a step back from the kit (Twistedkit). "Um, well..." He didn't know what to say to the kit; he wasn't prepared for anything but picking her up and following the SunClan apprentice. In his panic to find words, he noticed another kit. This one was tiny, sightless, and helpless. It could very well have been born that very day. (Willowkit) "Well, follow me then." He scooped up the tiny kit and trotted out of the nursery, skirting the fallen DarkClan cat (Nightscar) and searching desperately for the pale apprentice (Brightpaw) that was supposed to direct him to the leader's den.
Brightpaw wanted to tell Cloudkit that everything would be alright but the only thing that could be heard through the kit's fur was, "Efti go eo ay." Her brow furrowed as she heard the muffled sounds that were coming out of her mouth. Cloudkit would have to trust her for now. She glanced behind her to look for the EarthClan apprentice with Twistedkit. He was nowhere in sight. She would have to wait for him.
My fur is too conspicuous. She backed into the tall grass surrounding the nursery, trying to avoid some battling cats. (Birchpaw, Creampaw, Dappleclaw) Setting Cloudkit down, she sucked in a lungful of bloodtainted oxygen. "It's okay, Cloudkit," she mewed after choking on the smell.
Marshpelt shoved the DarkClan cat's body against the bramble wall of the nursery. It shook as the dead-weight collided with it. The nursery was coming down. He had to get any remaining kits out, now. "You can come out now, kits." The RockClan tom didn't know if he was talking to air, but he didn't really care at the moment. "I'm not going to hurt you." He could only hope that any surviving kits would respond.
Skystar got to her feet and sprang after the filthy DarkClan she-cat (Tigerstrike), temporarily shrugging off the pain from her fresh wounds. These DarkClan cats would remember this day when she was done with them. As she did this, she unknowingly avoided the faithful IceClan cat being thrown at her. Her claws raked down the she-cat's back and not only drew blood, but she used the cat's flesh as leverage to fling herself toward the medicine cat at the back of the nursery.
Nightfall turned away from Sunstar and his opponent to the DarkClan she-cat (Shadowfang) that was only a moment ago lying unconscious. Shadepaw and Shiverpaw were gone, running off somewhere. He hoped they would stay together. (He's so clueless it's almost painful to write. xD) Her paw whipped out and sliced the side of his muzzle. He turned away, gritting his teeth in pain. The black tom's eyes were sharp and cold as he turned back to glare at the she-cat. An experienced glance noticed the back leg she was favoring and a swift paw dashed out to deliver a blow to the back of her knee.
StarClan
Lightheart closed her eyes as she listened. She could sense the emotions flooding from Stormpaw's pelt and she could almost hear her thoughts. "Oh, darling," she murmured, eyes opening gently to reveal the violet irises underneath. "You are doing so much more than you give yourself credit for. And you have the potential to do even more. You just have to believe in yourself." She stepped close to the apprentice and looked her in the eyes. "Do you know what I see?" she asked after a moment. "I see a she-cat who's observant and clever, caring and quick. She sees and analyzes everything except what's inside of her." Their noses touched and Lightheart willed Stormpaw to stay there and be healed. "Trust me. No, trust yourself. Trust your heart. It knows so much more about you, than you." The white she-cat pulled away and smiled gently, eyes concerned.
