Yeah, I can't keep hoard pets on my wishlist for that reason. I hoard 2012 common rats, and as soon as I put them on my wishlist people assume I'm going to pay an '09 rare for four of them.

The two-step wishlist would actually be really helpful sometimes!

^^ I agree. I did try to take them of my wishlist once, but I got no trades, so now I just live with the occasional bad trades.

I finally got my March Chicken hoard to 1350 today. So happy.

The only thing that annoys me a lot as a hoarder is the fact that many people use my hoard pets to break into WL locked groups. I was almost okay with this for, well, we can say years, because my most recent hoard pets were dogs from 2011 (I'm not counting small 20 or 40 pets hoards I'm making from time to time), but since I started hoarding one of the last months second gens, nobody has problems to send trades like this one.
Sometimes I wish we had two-step Wishlist, one for "normal" pets and one for hoards so some groups would be available only when offering "normal" WL pets but others would be "hoard WL friendly".

Haha, yeah. I get a lot of trades asking for my older 2011 pets, offering some chickens.
Actually, most of the trades that I receive offer me chickens, & most of the times it's pretty unfair to me. Darn hoards ;p

I know how you feel. I've a few fair trades come around, but they use my hoard pets to execute the trade. I wouldn't mind it so badly if they didn't do that.

It's never easy trading for the VC and C hoard pets when you have over 300 of them. >.<

Just because I offer super overpay for a second gen from this month does not mean you'll get then an 09 rare out of me for ONE second gen from this month. :/

What do you hoard?
Oh my wires, a lot of things! Too many to name really? I've almost hit 50 hoards~
Saplings is most likely my main hoard, I hoard any type of these and others ( I really need to make a full list, ha-ha, just putting a quick reminder to myself here ) as well and so far it's... coming along okay-ish? It's endless, fun times!
Honeydew's Bees! Is also a main-ish hoard, I love bees and I love the Yogscast, so it was fitting x3

Why do you hoard them?
I hoard what I do because of things in real life, or maybe I just like that type? I've always had a weird mind for these type of things.
Best Friends is a hoard I do because of a few of my friends. They mean the world to me and I always loved these dogs, and they remind me of them <2
Candy Anyone? Is a hoard I do from my friend's girlfriend who loves candy and loves ponies! Very fitting~
Cookies and Cupcakes I hoard because of two of my friends who are always talking about cookies and cupcakes, very random they are~
Scottish Tale is a hoard I do because of one of my oldest friends who once told me about a dream he had with light coloured dogs with red-eyes. And he's Scottish, so it was very fitting for him. He also liked the type of dog when I showed him it.
Sunshine is a hoard I've got going to do with a friend, that when I first spoke to him on Skype kept shouting into the mic about how hot it was because he and his sister were sitting outside.
Sweet, sweet memories is to do with my friend's brother who... um... isn't with us anymore.
Swirls is a hoard I'm doing to do with my friend who calls herself Swirls.
Wingin' It is a hoard I do because of a friend of mine who was always telling her brother off and then winging out of anything to do with other people.
Wolf's Howl is something to do with my friend's sister, who likes wolves.

There's more, but maybe I should shut up about that now xD

How large is your hoard?
The largest one I've done is 60 and my endless ones are the longest.

What is your goal for the hoard?
That one is done, but I have a hoard where I'm trying to get 1111 of THIS dog, the hoard called Area 11. But it isn't that easy because I've got to name every one of them after something about the band x3 GG me.

Do you overpay for hoard pets/items?
Yes, I believe I do because I don't know very much about trading and will give a lot of older pets for just one!

What was the first pet/item in your hoard?
I'm unsure <2 I do believe it's one of the dogs in Cody's Flame.

What do you hoard?

Black lab dogs, and Fjord ponies

Dogs wear the cape blanket and lollypop stick below, while ponies usually wear horse gear and have plushies riding them




Why do you hoard them?

The labs are simply because I have one dog and have only ever had one dog named Bailey, and I couldn't resist them. It was one of those things where it was October or something and lots of people were gifting me via "trick or treat" black labs, because I probably forgot to take them off my wishlist and it was one of the few commons on there

The Fjords were my first hoard. I saw one on the forums that advent season, and had no idea what the pet was-- I hadn't recieved one and for some reason it wasn't put up on the archive with the rest of the litter straight away. I adored them and started collecting, now I am at 101 and I think it'll stay that way

100 (now 101 :p) for the Fjords

Do you overpay for hoard pets/items?

Try not to but ocasionally for the Fjords I would! They're actually not that easy to find

What was the first pet/item in your hoard?

Not sure, I have no sentimental value for a paticular pet. They are all aesthetically pleasing as a group
