Our backstory/history's are different, but they need to be roughly the same if they are sisters. Instead of being orphaned, which wouldn't make sense, Saki could live with Angel and their mother. I think maybe when Angel got her music box, she would have gotten a sketchpad, some basic drawing and writing media, and maybe a notepad for her writing too. It would explain her love of writing and art!

How old is Angel?

yeah, your ideas make sense, but I said that Angel got the music box for her birthday, so maybe Saki could've gotten her writing and art stuff for her birthday that year. I haven't really decided what her age should be, but I think Angel should probably be a bit older than Saki because she looks older to me. I think I'd probably make her eight.
