Once a year, every year, a certain event is held at a certain high school in town. People come from all around to attend, to witness the magical night that every young JMD dreams of experiencing- Prom. They all dress up for a night of fun, risk, and new discoveries.... you can hear their laughter echoing through the night until morning.

Anayways, that time has once again rolled around, and anybody who's anybody will be there. However, if you'd like to attend, you'll need to follow some rules....

1. NO SPAMMING. If you're going to talk OOC, use [ or (. If you'd like to talk about the characters or plot and you DON'T have an RP reply to post, PM the person! If you have any questions it's best to PM me, as I won't be following the thread 24/7.
2. KEEP IT PG-13. This should be pretty obvious. Kissing is alright, but "They snuck off into another room" is the most you can do. This is is a family-friendly website, remember?
3. RESPECT THE STAFF. I expect you guys to respect and listen to any of the usual JMD staff that ask you to do something. I will also assign a mod or two specifically for this event; you can find their names below.
4. THIS IS FOR JMD OWNERS ONLY. If you don't own a JMD, you can adopt one here!
5. SEMI-LITERATE, IF POSSIBLE. Please, do your best to use proper spelling and grammar! If you're not a Native speaker, of course, I won't murder you for spelling a word wrong. But just remember, a post like this:

Vine glanced around. Blitz had fallen asleep ages ago, but he still couldn't sleep. He got up as silently as possible, and as stealthily as a cat, exited the den, making sure to avoid stepping on Blitz's tail, which was sprawled out in front of him. He slowly walked some ways away from the den, the sound of crunching leaves soft under his paws. The landscape of the ground soon turned to sand, and he was at the shore. He circled a few times before sitting down on the sand, the waves washing up gently against the tips of his toes. He stared up at the almost full moon. Will we ever get out of here? He wondered sadly, and hoped that they weren't the only ones left. It would have been terrible if everyone else had been killed by the crash. He shuddered at the thought.

Is MUCH more appealing than a post like this:

blitz was sleeping vine got up and went to the beach "will we ever get out of here" he thought

Just think about that.
6. I will add more rules as necessary.

Some tips and guidelines:
Dressing up is recommended, but not required! If your JMDs don't want to dress up, that's fine!
YOUR JMD IS NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE A DATE TO ATTEND! Your JMD can come in a friend group, or even just by themselves! Then they can dance with multiple people.
Even if your JMD has a date, it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that they dance with other JMDs too, not just their date! This is supposed to be a night of fun, remember?~
