William rubbed his forehead before running his agitated fingers through his raven hair. "I have very sufficient reason not to trust you, this being the pinnacle of it all," he said, gesturing to the ring on Undertaker's hand. "You both have been incredibly secretive about everything ever since you started... dating. Did you ever stop to consider that I might be able to accept your relationship if you would just give me the honesty I deserve? I understand that Sorrel is independent. It's a wonderful trait; on that I myself possess. But I can only put up with so much. I also understand that my nature is to be protective and controlling. But given the proper time, I would have accepted the fact that you two..." His voice lost the fire from before and faltered, his tone softening. "...love each other. A fact that I still cannot accept due to the mistrust both of you have shown me." He sunk into his chair, finally feeling as though his mind had been spoken for the first time in weeks.

Undertaker was silent for a long while. He....really didn't have a good answer for all of this. "I'm sorry," Was all he said before looking William in the eyes. "But what's done is done."

William sighed. "I know it is done. And I have decided to support you two in this, but not fully. When, exactly, is this going to happen?" He asked quietly. He wouldn't look Undertaker in the eyes, or even raise his head long enough to do so.

Undertaker shook his head. "We haven't set a date yet," he said, "but you realize that Sorrel and I aren't the only shinigami that are together?" He raised an eyebrow, not that anyone could see it.

William frowned. "I'm aware that... Wait, who are you talking about?" He asked uncertainly. His relationship with Zoe wasn't a secret, nor was Ceelo's and Drocell's, but he couldn't think of any other pairing for the life of him.

Ubdertaker was so close to laughing. ".....you mean my daughter never asked you?...." He was confused a moment. "Never mind, I was referring to Kaycee and Grell."

William frowned. "Asked me...?" He took in the words. "Sutcliff is dating Miss Sohma? That's almost as sickening as you and my sister," he rubbed his eyes. It wasn't like he was about to do anything about it or mention it, it was none of his business. "All I can say is that all of this newfound romance better not affect anyone's work ethic or I will be an incredibly unhappy boss." He muttered, not aiming for Undertaker to hear him. He looked back up at Undertaker. "I have nothing else to say."
