She walked along the road, rocks crunching under her feet, hands tucked in the pockets of her oversized grey hoodie, zoned out. Her steps shortened, nose to the air, a scent began to make its way to her. A similar scent was familiar, but not as pungent. She stopped, deciding she didn't want any closer.
