Story: Aurora was confused, she couldn't find anyone she knew. She was alone... alone... alone... She started sobbing drasticly. But then she realized, it wasn't too bad. Besides, it was peaceful...

Story Prompt: These pups were on a happy family vacation with their parents having an adventure rafting down a river in the rainforest when they took the wrong fork in the river and went over a waterfall. Their parents haven't been seen since, and each pup washed up along the river at different locations. They were all sad and confused. Soon, one pup grew restless, and began to walk away as the others waited. This pup's name happened to be Star, and he was the runt of the litter. He was also the most adventurous. He began to count the stars. As soon as he reached 1000 stars, someone saw him, and picked him up. The little pup was going home. Then something happened. In a sudden flash, the world became dark, and he saw nothing. It happened in the day, and he tried to figure out what happened, then he was placed in a small pen with two other pups. The female pup stared at him wondering who he was and why he couldn't see, while the male pup stared at it, growling. Soon, two adult rpw' s walked in and stared at the pup. He wasn't their son.... and he was blind! The adults stared in wonder, and took the little pup into a small bed, and the pup begain to dream, and he was dreaming of stars.

Darkness hangs in front of my eyes, but it isn't black. Flashes of color appear and then are gone, and green rings close in on me. I guess that's what happens when you haven't seen light for a long time.
But... why haven't I seen light in a long time? Why can't I think of it? There's something floating at the top of my brain but I can't seem to grasp it... It's just out of my reach.
Suddenly, more light seems to hang in front of my eyes and my head feels remarkably heavy with pain. The pain sharpens as the bright light seems to flicker in front of my eyes, and there are images. And... and sounds. Chirping. Screeching. A swiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiishswiiiiiiish sound. Like...
Water. Like a river.
One piece of that floating memory tumbles down, and I catch it. A river. I'm... in a river, and somehow, I got washed up on the shore. I can feel the water rushing up against my furry leg now, wetting my fur but also bringing the slimy texture of mud into the picture.
