She shook her head. "I'm not leaving the island. I want to stay here." she said. She was afraid of leaving, and she was also afraid that he wouldn't love her since she was having his foal.

"This is my clearing, where I stay, and I hope my future herd will, too." he motioned to the pile of leaves and dead grass where he slept, standing or laying. He quickly pushed another bigger pile together. "I know pregnant mares lay down to sleep more, and all horses lay to sleep sometimes!" He said. "So this is your's."
