"If you may have forgotten, I'm a trained warrior and technically so is Foxpaw!"Graystripe growled"And You are a full-grown cat! I beleive three cats can take on a fox! I think foxpaw could probably take it on by himself! But that's besides the point! Let's just get it away from here!"

[raccoon bandit]

Sama let out a rugged sigh, shaking his head. "Guess we have no choice." He muttered in between gritted teeth, before his hackles rose further upwards- something felt off. "Hey does anyone else feel something Weird-" The black tom's words world cut off into a ruffled grunt as a ginger kitten slammed into his shoulder, knocking him our of the way.
"WATCH OUT, MOUSEBRAIN-" Foxpaw was also cut off, after knocking the Tom out of the fox's path, he figured he could at least get a yell in- he couldn't. Heavy paws slammed onto his hindquarters and he heard a sickening cracked as he yelped out in agony, the fox's weight crippling his hips. "OW. GRAYSTRIPE HELP.!!!" The apprentice cried, black clouding his vision. He wasn't fully unconscious, oh no the pain was far too strong for that too happen, rather his vision had been blacked out by pain.

In a fury, Graystripe flung herself at the fox, knocking it off of Foxpaw."NEVER.TOUCH. FOXPAW!!!!!"she yowled at it as she began to pummel it to death"NEVER!!!!!!!' and then she bit its neck...

Sama watched wide eyed as the Fox crippled the apprentice and Graystripe flung herself into it in a white rage. He quietly rolled onto his hindquarters, staring impassively at the gray warrior. "Why...?" He asked her when she'd killed off the fox- something he definitely didn't expect to happen. "H-He's just an apprentice, why go to such lengths.?" Sama finished, shooting a glance of distaste to the pooling blood around the curled up ginger fur ball.

Graystripe began to tend to Foxpaw's wound.."Because he isn't just any apprentice.."She began quietly"He's my best friend.."

Sama blinked, and looked away, shrugging. "Hm. Touching, but you might want to get him to your medicine Cat." The midnight cat said quickly, padding off. Before he was out of sight, he flicked his head over his shoulder and added, "This isn't over. I will get that apprentice, and, when I do, you won't be there to save Him." And then Sama was gone.

Graystripe just huffed"Well see about that..."and continued to tend to Foxpaw"Are you alright,Foxpaw?.."

Groggily the ginger tabby peered at Graystripe, his vision fuzzy. He felt like his haunches where on fire. "Graystripe..." The tabby let out a breathy whine, squeezing shut his jaded eyes. "I-I can't feel my hind Legs." Foxpaw whimpered, looking up at the she-cat with pleading eyes, he felt worry tighten in his chest when he spotted the fox's blood staining her muzzle. "A-are you okay..?" he asked hurriedly, eyes widening. "What happened to the fox, are we safe.? You're no hurt are you.?! Graystripe, you can be hurt.! You're the best warrior there is.!"

"Shhh...Everything's fine, Foxpaw."she soothed"I'm not hurt, but I need to get you back to camp.." Graystipe sighed and looked at his leg a sadly, thinking back on the tale of Thunderclan and Cinderpelt..

Foxpaw nodded quickly, relieved. "I'm glad you're okay." He let out a throaty purr, and pushed his fore paws under his chest, attempting to get to his paws. He pushed as hard as he could, pain defeating him as he collapsed under his own weight.
