If he wants to really make it work, he'll respect that and not pressure you. If he does or gets too fast, tell him to cool it and don't be afraid to stand your ground.

@marly&&, it sounds to me that he likes you too. As for your friends, if they are true friends they will accept him as your boyfriend and not give you grief about it. If you like him, go for it. Your friends would be smart to accept that fact and not rock the boat, for you in the end have the final say.

hi, i'm dory. going through a bit of a tough time... i've recently developed a crush on this boy, let's call him s. so, 's' and i have had a bit of a weird friendship. a lot of people says it looks like we have a "skinny love" and say we're flirting. i'd really like it if he was, but i just don't think so. he barely talks to me, except for in science, art, or on the bus.

so, anyway, s and i became friends mid-school year, and close friends a couple weeks ago. he lives in a neighborhood a couple blocks away, but almost every other week shows up at least twice to hang out with me. i'm the only girl he does that to, and the only girl he ever actually touches. like, today in art we were watching a movie and he was sitting next to me. he just kind of scooted closer, and started like poking me and stuff. eventually he put his head on my shoulder and i was playing with his hair and *squee*. but, yeah. he doesn't do that to anyone else.

and oh my god, yesterday was amazing. i was talking to him on facebook, and he just stopped messaging me all of a sudden and like 10 minutes later was on my front doorstep. he literally walked 15 minutes to get to my house. we ended up watching part of a pixar movie before going on a walk in the woods behind my house. while we were walking, he kept teasing me and we ended up discovering we have a lot in common. religiously, personality, etc. so we ended up getting to this one clearing, and we just kind of laid down and watched the clouds and stuff. he ended up putting his head in my lap, and we kept switching positions. at one point, i ended up with my head on his chest and he randomly grabbed a little piece of grass and started tickling my nose with it. i couldn't stop sneezing, and s was laughing because he's a heck lot stronger than me and i couldn't get up. he put his arm around me and pinned me to the ground, and i swear his face kept getting closer. we were almost nose-to-nose when he finally pulled back and looked a bit disappointed. it started raining though, and he kept pushing me into the mud and asdfghjkl; oh my gosh.

i personally think it was one of the cutest moments in my life, but when i told my friends... it didn't quite go down right. he's kind of bullied a lot, and despite him being nearly popular, a lot of people don't like him because he's super smart. like, literally, he scored a 278 on a test when the average for our grade is 223. my friends think it's kind of gross, because...
1.) they don't think he's attractive.
2.) he's smarter than them.
3.) he makes fun of them back.

i know i shouldn't let my friends get in the way of my feelings, but i just don't know what to do. i can't make them accept him, but i know that if he ever liked me back they'd probably freak out on me.

This boy sounds just about damn perfect. Don't worry about popularity and what your friends think, none of that matters after high school is over, just go for it. If they freak and abandon you based on who you date, then they aren't real friends.

My crush always amuses me he keeps insisting that I'm stronger than he is... He lifts and works out a lot more than I do and his muscles are fairly large... My noodle arms are at most 4-5 inches thick and I can barely bench a 45 lb bar... We always joke around with the phrase, "do you wanna fight?" and he always jokes that I'd beat him up because I'm his "bully" I'm pretty sure he likes me but I'm kinda waiting on him to make the first move... He keeps insisting that I sign his yearbook and I don't have any classes with him so he's making me sign it next Monday between exams I really him and I'm glad we're at least friends

Anybody remember my story about C & H? ((Summary; C who is boy broke up with his girlfriend H because of a dare, she thought it was real, so she broke up with him for real.)) Well, they got back together. However, now C found out H only got back together with him to brake up with him. While it's still heartbreaking, I don't feel all that depressed. Though, I have been split in my own life -.- I also posted about my crush Two. BTW, for this post, C will be called Robbie and Two Phoenix.

Well, I have a big crush on Phoenix since not that long ago. We are good friends, and he has made a few signs of interest of me. That's alright, isn't it? Let me tell you what I found out about myself yesterday.

I was on a 4 day trip with the school (Both boys were there), I came back earlier today. Yesterday we went to a big park, and me and Robbie were goofing around, there was a place with fake jails so we pretended Robbie had to be arrested. That's normal, me and Robbie... Aren't as close as me and Phoenix but don't mind each other. In the theatre later that day, me and Robbie had some fun. When we left, I realised something... That I always had a teeny crush on him. I would never try to do anything when he was with H, them 2 together were perfection. But now, I realise his door is open, and nothing could stop me, he wants a new girlfriend. He did say a something usually you don't tell people that you hardly know (Meaning me), although I dunno. I like him more with each thought.

Help. Help. Help. Please.

Phoenix, everybody would make fun of me if I went out with him. Robbie, no one would blame me, every girl has some sort of eye on him. A disco/prom thingy is coming up. I worked out that Robbie is the only boy it'd be worth saying yes to. But then Phoenix...

So today was my birthday, and Dillon told me I'm getting my present from him in two parts, and part 1 is tomorrow when him and a few friends do something to surprise me (I have no clue what's going to happen, and it's a little bit scary, knowing them). Anyways, his birthday is also coming up at the end of July and recently I've been wondering what to get him. He really loves Adventure Time, so I was thinking something involving that or maybe Pokemon or something, and then also some candy because he loves anything with sugar in it.

What did you guys do for your crush/boy/girlfriend's birthdays? I need something for comparison.

Well, I can't say what i'm getting for Ninja's birthday (It's a surprise )

However, for my birthday, Ninja made me a custom Star Wars T-shirt and gave me a copy of The Princess Bride.

That's really cute! I have to show Dillon the Princess Bride actually, because he can't remember if he's seen it or not, and it's one of the greatest movies ever so he definitely needs to.

LOL I made my boyfriend watch it.
He pulled out Willow for us to watch (neither of us had seen it) and didn't mind it so I figured The Princess Bride would be fine too.
I think he enjoyed it; he appreciates things that are ironic, witty, good storytelling, etc.

Didn't really do much for his birthday, and I felt terrible about it. He never really celebrated his birthday much but I did make cupcakes for him. It was a Sunday evening and I wasn't able to stay the night, I was stressed about my classes, and I was physically in quite discomfort due to cramps that day so I wasn't much fun I'm afraid.

For mine, he took me out to eat and then took me to Target (love Target) and insisted on me picking out a few things (clothes) for him to pay for, which was incredibly sweet.

For my crush's birthday I carved him a wooden sword, it took weeks but it turned out totally awesome. I carved Celtic symbols into the handle and it was totally epic.
