Smiling softly I ran my fingers through Hiro's soft mass of hair trying to lull him back to sleep. No matter how much he wanted to hide his awakened state from me he couldn't. His scent had already spiked with awareness and was tinged with curiosity. I'd always wondered how I could smell emotions but I never minded. Normally I could only tell how someone was feeling with their scent if I knew them well. Glowing blue eyes scanned the occupants in the cave and I wasn't sure what to do.

Riley sat up in her bed with a groan. She was fully healed now, due to their strangely-accelerated regenerating process. Heaving herself to her feet, she stared at herself in her cracked mirror; the memory of when she threw a shoe at it during her fever came flooding back. Her dark brown hair was messed up in a ruffly halo around her head. Blinking her blue eyes, she slowly extended her light tawny wings, testing them to make sure they were healed. "Hey!" She shouted out her door, leaning against the door frame. "Who all is in the house?" She called.

((Vinyl, the flock is in a cave at the moment. Oh and I like the snake thing too. They should be able to control who they inject with venom though that way the whole flock won't end up half dead. XD))
