Pepper Potts wrote:Bella padded down the sidewalk. She stopped at the flower shop and looked at the variety of flowers outside. She smelled her favorite, a Lily. She sneezed slightly from pollen and she kept going. She stopped and saw another dog. She growled and bared her teeth at the other German Shepherd standing near her. She took a step closer, she was aggressive after the accident. She still had her police dog instincts. She itched the police collar and badge slightly. The badge gleamed in the sunlight, and she wished it would come off, but then she didn't. The badge reminded her of the good days she had with her handler. She used to train with dogs like the one in front of her. She still growled at him and flexed her muscles. Her body was large and built. She loved to train and she was good at it. Her favorite bark of training was Schutzund she smiled at the thought and quit growling at the dog. She smiled and wagged her tail lightly. When she had calmed down she spoke, "Hello, I'm Bella." She said it shyly and looked at the ground and not the other dog. She backed a step up in case the dog did the same thing she had just done.

I noticed it was Beau a few seconds after I realized my shadow wasn't suppsosed to be as big as it was getting, and I realized he was taking off. "Good day Beau," I called to him as my steady strides stopped in his presence.
I didn't know much about the male, other than he was missing an eye- not that I had a problem with that. Showed the kid had courage. I knew him to be what would be called a 'pistol' and in that way we were similar. Beau had been around longer than I had, and for some reason the town seemed to hold a grudge, not one of my knowledge and not one I was about to start pressing into so I could find out more. I didn't think of myself to be a gossiper, but I was sarcastic and sometimes being sarcastic is far worse, especially on a bad day- your own or someone else's.
The day was growing, and the sun was warming up fast. "Say, have you seen any trash cans worth digging around lately?'' I added as the growling of my stomach told me to do. I ate last night, but last night was the only thing I had eaten yesterday so I was considerably hungry. If Beau was going to look for food, I thought about asking if I could join; then again, he may be having a bad morning and want some time off. ❝ These sights and smells were wonderful, bircds singing lazy soungs about peace and freedown as we played the role of an eager aundience unable to clap for them. I planted the tip of my nose into a rose and wafted, the light scent serving as somewhat relaxing. Much to my dismay, a shady outline was spotted in my peripheral vision, so I looked to see another dog like me, a shepherd, looking as if I was wearing some outrageous costume. I persued.
As if the staring wasn't odd enough, the next thing I knew she was shining her teeth at me once her gums raised up like curtains to reveal them. She took a step towards me, and I was determined not to fight with her because you were not supposed to fight females. I did catch sight of her badged collar, but even that didn't serve as a clue as to why she was so protective so suddenly. Maybe this place had sentimental value and I was disturbing her peace, or maybe this was her territory. I was dumbfounded by this experience, but little did I know that it was going to become even more unusual.
She smiled as if a familiar thought entered her head, and then became even more friendly. The fae started a conversation with me, and I thought I might as well just start from a clean slate. Her behavior was timid and submissive, but she was at least social enough to tell me her name. I raised the furrow of what was considered my eyebrow and thought for a moment about what to say to her. I decided to just act natural towards her and introduce myself as well. "Hello, I am Atticus. Did I alarm you?" I asked, curious to know what the problem had been earlier. ❞

Bella looked at the dog that looked like herself stand where she had just stood. She moved a rock out from where one toe met another. She looked at the dog smell the roses she only saw as death. At the funeral of her handler roses were everywhere. Roses didn't give her the best memories of the memories she had. She figured she had confused the dog and tried to forget it. She wagged her tail and looked at him when he spoke, "Nice to meet you Atticus, and uh... no I was just protective of my being." She had a fear of others trying to kill her. Her title was "Police Dog" People killed police, she knew it for a fact. She had seen it. She smiled at the dog calmly. She waited for him to talk next. She hoped he dog would want to be her friend. She didn't have any now. Being alone was her typical day. She didn't want to be alone anymore.

Chest rumbling to arose the small pup that laid beside him the large white dog rose up to his paws, shaking his pelt to free it from any fallen debris. Icy eyes scanning the area around him he slowly padded out of the large than him crate, stretching out his limbs afterwards much like cat with his back coiling up. Standing at his full height he sighed softly as he stared out at the dark alleyway. Tail flicking he lifted his nose towards the sky and sniffed the air, scenting the air for any food close by. Smelling nothing the brute racked his brain for any places that he knew of that food was easy to find. Coming up with one place the elective mute dog smirked lightly, deciding to go now would be best. Glancing behind him the Great Pyrenees sighed softly when he noticed the curled up bundle of rusty red and white still asleep. Padding towards the crate he nudged the small pup gently, licking her ear to erase the sleep out of her. Hearing an irritated puppy growl White Fang chuckled softly before taking a step back, allowing the pup to stretch before jumping out of the crate.
His stormy gray colored ears flicked forwards when he heard True ask where they were going and he simply answered by picking her up by the scruff of her neck. Ignoring her cries of protest the white brute trotted towards the entrance of the alley, picking up speed as he jogged. He slinked out of the alley and into the shadows as he walked alongside the building, avoiding humans as much as possible. Noticing the fence line that separated the factories and alleys from the main city he slowly began to gain speed, his trot increasing more and more. Nearing the fence he broke out into a run, the fast wind pushing his ears back. Preparing for a jump he pushed upwards with his forelegs and pushed off with his hind legs. His belly fur barely grazed the top of the fence as he cleared it and landed on the other side without missing a single step. Looking around whilst still holding onto Shattered Truth, White Fang noted down the path that lead to his destination and padded down along it, slinking back into the shadows and keeping alert as his ears detected the sounds of cars.Shattered Truth

I am~ "At the dog park."
My current emotion~ "Excited I guess."
My relationship status~ "I'm too young."
The little pup's mixed colored eyes snapped open only to be greeted with pure darkness. True growled with irritation towards her big brother from awakening her from her dream. It was the only place she could actually see, being able to forget about the curse her eyes held for her. Rising up to her paws the smaller than average aussie shook her red merle pelt and leaped out of the crate, memorizing how many steps she had to take and how much power she had to put into her legs to clear the crate. Landing gracefully on the ground she sighed in pleasure as her paws touch the odd texture of the substance she knew as concrete, how hard it was and how cool or hot to the touch it could be. Tail wagging she yipped happily before bounding side to side, wanting to go somewhere already. Her happiness was cut short when she felt White Fang lift her up by her scruff, she yelped in surprise before adapting to it as he has done this to her multiple times. "White Fang where are we going?" Shattered Truth asked the large brute. She didn't know how he looked like of course but his scent brought reassurance to her and she knew he was a large dog as his steps caused the ground to vibrate and his fur was too fluffy for a small dog. Feeling the familiar feeling of the rumbling of his chest against her side the small pup sighed softly, knowing well what it meant and stood quiet, awaiting for him to move.
She barked lightly when she felt him starting to trot, moving up and down in his jaws with his movements. To her it was like a bumpy ride and it brought joy to the sightless aussie. Howling happily when White Fang cleared the fence she giggled as the wind brushed against her fur for the few moments up in the air. Squirming in her brother's grasp she waited impatiently to arrive to their destination already though with the sounds of rapid cars and barking dogs she had feeling she knew where they were going. After a few minutes her suspicions were confirmed when she heard the faint sound of cars and began to squirm even more. True wanted to be released and bound around the humans even though she knew her brother didn't like it, happily being herself in her own little world. The sound of her stomach growling loudly caused the small pup to whimper softly and raise her self up, bring up her hind legs to tighten her stomach. It had been awhile since the two last ate and White Fang always gave up most of his food to True which helped her but still wasn't enough for the hungry aussie. Heightened ears perked up in high alert Shattered Truth took the opportunity to help her brother find food.

Ginger~
I walked slowly down a alleyway to find some scraps of food from a dumpster. I found a small piece of hamburger meat that had some onions on it. I smiled and yipped of happiness, I ate it slowly so it would last a little longer then just gulping it down. I walked over to the other dumpster and frowned as I saw that once was empty. I hated to be so hungry! It hurt me in a few ways, one made me feel sick, two made me feel unwanted by others, and three No one will feed me. I walked over to a box and sat down with the last of the water I found and took a sip.

OOC:: If anyone wants to interact with Zephyr and Sparrow, Zephyr's in the park and Sparrow's in an alleyway.
♕ ℤEPHYR ↠ two years;; female;; single;; waking up
✗ lalalalaThe gentle thud of Joy's feet against the hardwood floor woke Zephyr early on. Pricking her ears up, Zephyr listened as the human poured dry food into her bowl and refilled her water. Seeing the advantage of sustenance, Zephyr threw herself off her bed and padded over, hitting Joy's legs with her tail on the way, just to show her affection. Crouching down into a cat-like position, Zephyr devoured most of the food and lapped at a bit of the water. As Joy settled down to finish a painting, Zephyr licked her chops clean and clattered her way over to her human. Headbutting Joy on the knee, Zephyr whinned gently. "Don't whine, Zephyr," Joy said, tousling her dog's neck fur and making the little silver bone jingle happily. Enjoying the petting, Zephyr sat down with her head on Joy's lap. Once she started painting again, Zephyr left for the kitchen. Pushing her head through the doggie door, Zephyr's pupils shrinked to prinkpricks. The sun was out and blazing, and it radiated off of the young dog's fur.
✗ lalalalaGlad for her light colored fur, Zephyr made her way across the warm pavement. Storm clouds gathered in the distance, but for the moment they didn't impede her basking. Her nails made a clicking noise on the sidewalk, and her collar sounded like Christmas. Wagging her tail, Zephyr decided to go to the park. Maybe she would see some of the other dogs there, it was a nice day. Some were sure to be out. Picking up her pace, Zephyr trotted at an even pace, anxious for the feel of the grass between her toes. She picked up a few scents, but ignored them. They were unfamiliar, and Zephyr was wary of unfamiliar dogs. The last time she had met one alone, things had not gone well. Fear prickling it's way up her spine, Zephyr crossed the street quickly, and was glad once she had jumped over the curb into the park. Here, she was safe. Here, she could socialize freely with protection. Stopping to roll in the green grass, Zephyr rubbed her face into the ground and kicked her feet in the air, frolicking.
❦ ₴PARROW ↠ five months;; male;; single;; exploring
✗ lalalalaA dank ally would normally be a bad place for any young creature. But if that creature just so happens to be a puppy who knows his way around, there would be no danger. Sparrow was digging around in the rubbish bin, hoping to find a scrap of meat to nibble. He had skipped breakfast of dry pallets because they did not appeal to him in the slightest. His slender frame showed that all too clearly. No matter which brand or type his owner had tried, Sparrow was disgusted by all of them. Peering into the last bin in the line, Sparrow was delighted. Some absolute fool had thrown out a good t-bone. The actual bone, of course. But they were a poor carver. Several chunks of meat and fat hung off, in addition the the juicy bone. Sparrow scarfed them down quickly, gnawing on the bone after all the other items were gone. His skinny little tail whipped against the ground, making a slapping sound each time it hit the damp pavement. This sound bounced around on the worn brick walls and emitted eerily from the alleyway.
✗ lalalalaLicking the traces of the t-bone off his lips, Sparrow wriggled behind one of the buildings in the ally. Each building created a little passageway between themselves and the fence. Sparrow was one of the only dogs small enough to find a way through them. Popping out on the other side, Sparrow chased away a cat who was also looking for food. Pleased that he was scary enough to get that cat gone, Sparrow sat for a moment to survey his work. The alleyway had already been picked clean by other dogs, who left the bones strewn about. Sparrow loved bones and chased them across the pavement. They skittered around hollowly, clinking when they hit each other. For a while, Sparrow chased them until he grew tired. Then, the young pup rested against someone's side steps. Once he had regained a bit of energy, Sparrow pounced again. One of the bones slid out onto the sidewalk. Since that one moved best, Sparrow went to retrieve it, blinking in the light. He noted the storm clouds and decided that when it started sprinkling, he would run home.
