Waking up in the morning and practically leaping out of the bed too snatch her leather bound notebook was just a morning routine for this nineteen year old girl. Juno was a writer and would scream it too the world if she had too, this girl almost hated everything except writing. This was the girl who was bullied for her talents, and this was the girl who was abused by her parents. How is Juno still alive you ask? Well, when everything else failed, writing was her benefactor. She tried everything to get out of the monrose depths of depression. Drugs, Alcohol, and many other sinister things. But the burning sensation the whiskey and nicotine brought made her sick. A school assignment on writing is what set the fire. Now enough about Juno's past, it was 8:00 am when the alarm went on screeching throughout the house. It echoed off the bare walls, stripped of there child hood finger paintings, and soon a screaming girl straightened up in her bed. The delict figure stopped her screaming and took five deep breaths. "One, two, three-," Juno counted slowly. The nightmares had gotten her again, there tendrils of terror always tried to suffocate her. As the stick like girl tried to remember what had started her off screaming, Juno suddenly thought of it. She'd been in the dark forest again. A place her mind had taken her ever since she was three, a place that so terrifying that Juno almost never slept to avoid the atrocious beasts that haunted the dark reaches of her mind. Staring at her clock half way across the room, Juno tried to make out the time. But it was fuzzy and were those zeroes or eights? The girl's mind cleared from the morning haze, and she was suddenly able to recall her myopia, or it was most commonly known as being nearsighted. Shoving her navy blue ray bands up her face and resting on the bride of her nose Juno saw the time, 8:10 am already!..
Scrambling out of her bed, and slipping on a pair of sneakers, Juno ran out to get her parents breakfast. Her room wasn't a pretty one, but it was alright. Messy piles of clothes and books in some nooks and niches, the other corners had piles of pillows and blankets. Juno lived in a three wall finished basement, with lots of cupboards and crevices. It was an oddly shaped room, more like a triangle then the normal square that you'd usually find in a house. Stomping up the stairs, Juno heard a slight shaking in her parents bed, "Crap," Juno was worried her parents could hear her, but her raspy voice was barely audible because it was rarely used. Skidding to a halt, Juno realized there were no clean dishes. Rubbing her temple, the girl grabbed some bowls instead. 'You can make bacon in a bowl, right?' but she was too tired to care. After carefully microwaving the bacon, eggs, and sausages she rested them nicely on a plate. Juno walked up their short spiral staircase all the way up to her parents bedroom, it was a big room. Half the ceiling a sky light and the other half a starry pattern engraved into the boards. As for the carpet, it was an amazing charcoal color with long fronds that when your feet step on it, they practically sink into it. Juno laid the breakfast at her mother and father's bed side an quickly retreated into her backyard.
