Knocking her to the ground, Torent kicked her in the stomach. He help her to the ground.
Chevy hear commotion. He lazily walked over to what he saw and pushed his brother aside. "Could you leave the poor mare alone?" he said irritated. Torrent's ears went back. "Why are you here?"
"Because your tourchering a mare and claiming land that isn't yours, little brother." Chevy said, trying to help the mare up.
"Why don't you just mind your own business!" Torent screamed.
"Because when Mom died, she left me in charge of you. I don't care how old you get, I'll still watch you, whether that be watch over you, or watch myself correct you." Chevy said evenly. He was bigger than his brother, standing at 19 hands. He weighed 2,300 pounds and was a Thoroughbred-Shire-Quarter horse-Percheron. He had the head of a Quarter Horse, the energy and spirit of a Thoroughbred, and bulk of a Shire, and the size of a Percheron. He stood with his head held high as he always did, majestic and proud.
Compared to his brother, Torent thought himself as nothing. He was Thoroughbred-Mustang, his father was different than Cevy's. "Well, just leave me alone!" Torent shrieked, cantering away.
Chevy's genial blue eyes seemed to want to mend every wound the mare had gotten. "Are you okay?"
