Valentine was kicked out of his herd by hisfather at the age of 3 he wandered alone and had a few foals with his last herd but they were all still borns but his mares all got stolen in battle so niw he keeps his mares close together when they move to place from place he has been known to Hurt his mares if they try to escape him but he appologizes he justcan stand being alone

Slew's Verdict

He nodded at her words,and even if Blanche hadn't seen Lily turn back,he had.Now,it seemed,he had split apart two seemingly close friends.Even if Blanche had made the decision to stay,he still felt responsible."We'll see her once more,someday."Finding a mare was supposed to be a joyous time,but now his joy was mixed with sadness for his mare's loss.Although now it may be easier to court more mares into his herd,because now he could offer a companion of their own kind.The stallion knew he could not repay this sacrifice to Blanche,and promised himself once more to die for this mare.Judge did not voice his thanks,only touching his muzzle to the bottom of her white neck.


Hollywood Hicktown

She followed Spade confidently now,her head no longer staring solely at the ground,but swiveling curiously as she took in the delightful sights of the mountains.As they continued,however,Hicktown felt in her legs just how difficult it was to get to any caves.Her palomino coat was shiny with sweat,and her breathing was a little heavy.Still,if Spade could make it and he was heavier,then she would push herself to match him.

Even with her mental promise to psh herself,Hicktown could not hide the sigh of relief when Spade stopped.Going to his side and lowering her head,she listened carefully to his words.As he said that he would go up there,though,her head shot up quickly."I'll go up there,Spade.It'll be easier for me to get up there and,worst case scenario,get down."Again,she thought of how tired she had been not 10 minutes ago,but now she felt re-energized.She was lighter and could escape quicker if something wasn't too welcoming.

Ace of Spades

As Hicktown had caught up to him, Spade noticed how much more confident she had become, and he couldn't repress the gentle smile on his muzzle. She was a fast learner indeed, and Spade mentally praised the speed at which she had picked this up. It had taken a lot out of her though, and he saw a shiny sheen of sweat glistening on her coat. At that, he felt slightly worried for the mare, but was also quite relaxed. With this distance, no other horse would be able to climb to them and still have enough strength to fight. A sneak attack from below was now impossible. Also, with all the grass, Spade knew there was water nearby, so they could rest at the cave first, then get some water, before having some greatly needed sleep.

At her words though, Spade looked at her, worry bursting into his usually blank eyes. His ears were perked on her now, completely focused on the petite mare in front of him. At her preposition, Spade's ears immediately flicked back, showing his dislike of the idea. He knew that there might be something dangerous out there, and his instincts wanted him to be in between her and danger. He wanted to go along with his instincts, but the rational part of his mind spoke of the pros, and his ears slowly relaxed, before focusing on her again. Hicktown looked tired, but she was right in saying that it would be easier for her. Fighting his instinctive response, he snorted, relaxing. Finally, he nodded, seeing the sense in the idea. The stallion walked up to Hicktown, deliberating on what to say. There was so much he could say, but the socially awkward stallion was at a loss for words. Finally he touched his nose to her withers, nuzzling her, before he stepped back. "Stay safe." He murmured quietly, before backing away so that she had access to a flatter slope which she could use to get to the cave.

ʙʟᴀɴᴄʜᴇᴅ ᴘʀᴇᴍᴏɴɪᴛɪᴏɴ

Blanche shook her head. "Won't matter," she stated softly. "Fell apart." She knew that the moment she picked Judge's side and Lily stepped away from the two of them, something had changed between the two. Blanche no longer felt Lily would protect her to the death, nor she did she consider them to be near sisters. Now, they were two separate beings, drifting through the world on their own paths, like two perpendicular lines, crossing once and then never seeing each other again. She felt his nose against her neck and shied away from him, tucking her ears back and moving a few paces away. "Sorry you could not have us both," she stated, looking at him once again as she turned to face the broad-shouldered stallion.

{What I know: Blanche and Lily were traveling together when they found Judge. Lily didn't want to stay with him, but left Blanche there, thinking she'd have a better life with him.
