snorted. "I don't belong to him!" she spoke with a snort, "He found me as a foal and he raised him. York does not own me." The mare frowned when Shadow began to leave. "I would love to keep talking with you. York is too busy finding shelter for the night to notice, anyway." Fallen looked over to a gray appaloosa with his back turned.

Shadow turned around completely and smiled,"So what else would you like to talk about? You can choose the topics from here."his ears leaned forward a little. His eyes were eager, as though he wanted to eat up each word the mare could say.

Snowflake pricked her ears at Shadow. "Maybe we could talk to a stallion later."

Shadow saw her coming,"Excuse me for a moment."he told Fallen. He then turned to face Snowflake,"Why hello, miss. The name's Shadow. Who might you be?"

"hello there. I am Snowflake. Do you have a herd?" Snowflake asked him.

Shadow nodded,"I certainly do. Why? Are you searching for one?"his voice had regained it's usual spark, that excited, cunning spark.

"Yea. I don't have a herd." she answered.
