Black Fire lowered his head slightly. "Alright then. You two keep safe." He nickered, slightly disappointed. He turned to his mares, "Let's go find a safe place for the night." He snorted, watching the shadows grow as the soft colors from the sunset filled the sky.

Snowflake snorted with relief. She and Gypsey were still without a stallion. It was good for her because she wasnt very social, unless you started the conversation.

Devil Fire

(Fade)

Devil nuzzled Aspen briefly, giving her a mere touch before he nudged her toward the herd. "Try the salt licks. They're nutritious. They make you thirsty though, so drink more water." Devil said, before walking back to the herd with her.

Devil raised his head, looking at the sky, now full of the reds and golds of the evening. He snorted, nodding. They would be sleeping here tonight, and Devil was happy that they had reached before night fell. They were moving in good time. After they stopped here and boosted their health a little, they would have to move once more. That was the trick so that predators couldn't find them, moving so often that their scents never collected largely on the ground. Devil let his head fall, snatching up some grass. It was a little dry due to the heat of summer, but Devil didn't mind too much.

Sunset flicked her ear to acknowledge Aspen, but otherwise stayed put. The roan mare looked out over the valley, curious as to what was going on in the world. With a small content sigh she lowered her head, and then quickly lifted it again when she felt something inside her move. With a stunned snort she tried to nuzzle her stomach, wanting to feel her first foal kick again.She watched the sunset, content for the first time since she got snaked by Devil.

Gypsey smiled shyly at Snowflake. "You know you could have left me and gone with him" she says softly

Aspen
She shook her head and headed to the salt licks, sniffing them curiosily. She gave one a lick and shook her head. Though it made her very thirsty she licked it again.

"Yes, I know." Snowflake answered. "I just know a stallion I want to join more." she though of Falcon and of how nice he was.

Gypsey chuckled "is it that one stallion I haven't met yet" she says smiling

Snowflake lowered her head. She looked up at her. "yes. He was so nice and he didn't have any mares I think." she told Gypsey.
