April breathed a quiet sigh of relief and continued grazing.

shook her head a little. "Ye- No. Well, not really. Honestly, he's more of a brother of sorts." She was actually quite unsure of what York really was to her. What was he exactly? She had forgotten how they had met and they had been together since she was a foal. In fact, she didn't know anything about her foalhood. But that was beside the point now.

"But you stay by his side? You have a scent of dominate male on you. I recognize it."Shadow felt weird saying it, but had a feeling he was right.

As Snowflake got closer to the big white mare (Shikoba), she saw two stallions and a mare off in the distance. She didn't think they would fight for the mare.

flicked her tail and shifted her weight. "I tells me I have to," she admitted, "But he lets me roam away sometimes. Like right now." Fallen was felt an uneasiness but ignored it. If York saw the stallion, he would run him off. Maybe.

Snowflake stopped and looked at the horses near the winter mountains.

"So you do belong to him, but he's just nicer to you."Shadow concluded. He sighed and glanced away,"I don't think he'll be happy to see you with me. I'll..just go"he took a few steps away. Maybe there was another mare, he thought. He shook his head and turned around again to face Fallen,"Unless you want to keep talking."

Snowflake went closer to the mountian pass. She stopped after a few steps and lowered her head to graze.

snorted. "I don't belong to him!" she spoke with a snort, "He found me as a foal and he raised him. York does not own me." The mare frowned when Shadow began to leave. "I would love to keep talking with you. York is too busy finding shelter for the night to notice, anyway." Fallen looked over to a gray appaloosa with his back turned.
