Jackson sighed. "You should have told someone. That could have caused internal damage."

"I had it checked when I was in the hospital. I made the doctor swear to secrecy, though."

"Wasn't your dad your doctor?" He asked.

"I called for another one while he went down with mom and Trin for something. I can't remember what it was. But the doctor said I was fine."

"Okay. What are you going to do if you end up pregnant?" He asked.

She looked at him. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"You kept you second pregnancy a secret, what are you going to do if you end up pregnant this time? I guess I'm asking if you are just going to leave town to hide it, and the just give the kid away. What about me? It would be mine too!" Jackson said.

Maria looked away, tears threatening to overflow. "He killed the baby before I got a chance to tell anyone. I would have kept the baby if I could," she said. "And I'm gonna keep the baby if I get pregnant again. Do you actually think I would do that to you?!" she asked. "I thought you knew me better than that."

"I'm sorry! I am just now seeing you again after almost 13 years, and we've already done it after a day. I really am struggling with believing all of this is true. I'm here, in Greece, with my old family. It just doesn't seem real." Jackson sighed.
