Ay caramba... -.-
After I thought he was getting better, Daniel nipped his fins again yesterday and got a pretty good chunk out of it. He's so easily stressed, I suppose it's just one of those things I'll have to live with. I have a hunch he may be a rosetail, I'd just LOVE to see his tail in one piece for once. -sigh-

Sounds deformed. If you post a picture, it'd be more helpful. But, yeah, probably a deformity. Sounds just like a deformed white cloud I once saw.
http://sta.sh/02alu2kxokjw that's the best picture I could get since she's so fast and my other fish were crowding up right in front of the camera lol. I don't think it's a deformity, ivehad her for a year and she didn't look like that before. It just started about a week or two ago and seems to be getting worse.
Oh...well I'm not sure then. Sorry

Anyone got any ideas on what I could use to hang it on untill I find it?Its an interpet internal power filter.
I really need to move my guppy into it ASAP, he's the last one I have left so I really need to get some more, but I aint gonna risk it in the divided tank again.
Also, my 54ltr should be ready to move my community fish into by the weekend

Which means I can get female guppies again!
I saw some stunning girls yesterday, but I'm pretty sure most of them were heavily pregnant (some deffinatly were). Which wouldnt be a problem, if we wernt going on holiday in two weeks. My brother will be coming to feed the fish, but wont be able to move them in/out of breeders traps if they start giving birth.
Any ideas what I could do to prevent the babies getting eaten if they give birth while were away? I have a few of those plastic traps that can be divided, and a net one. And I have plently of plastic canvas to make tank dividers,
though I'm not sure what count it is off the top of my head. Some of them looked fit to burst, so they may give birth before we go, but I'd like to be prepared, just in case.
But, if there isnt anything I can do, then I'll just have to wait to get some till we come back.

That vaguely looks like fish tuberculosis.
Hopefully it in't fish TB.

Not to change the subject or anything, but has anyone here ever thought about putting coal in a fishtank.
Me and my best freind went down to lake michigan and there is a huge deposit of coal that always gets washed up where we are, so i was thinking i could use some of it if i boiled it.
we then went to lake winnebago and found an unusual amount of dead fish being washed up. My best friend and i picked up a live beached sunfish and put it in a pail of water. we then swam out to the edge of the buoys where we were and let him go.

Sad story:
So I had a shrimp and it was an amazing shrimp. And this shrimps name was hunchback because it looked like he had this huge hunch back. And he was the commander of the s.s.notsofloating wich was his sunken ship. There was a hole through the center and he would swim through the hole then swim up on top of the sail boat and just sit there at the tippity top of the boat sailing to no where. Then after 5 min. Of sitting there the two big twins(the bully fish that are Identical and are the biggest in the tank) would start chasing around mr. Hunch back, but here is the cool part unlike most shrimp who just scamper along the bottum of the tank, mr. Hunch back swims as high as the fish do and he out swims those annoying big twins and goes of to hang out with the little quintuplets wich got their names just like the big twins did.
Then a week ago I came home frome school and went to feed mr. Hunchback to find the big twins at attacking him and this time they got him and killed him now I dispize the big twins and even though my dad got me 5 other fish that makes the little quintuplets ummmmm I dk , but nothing can replace hunch back .
